Antares was on our list for few years, especially after becoming fans of Sarah Todd from Masterchef Australia. Located next to Ozran beach with an extended view of Vagator beach, the restaurant is placed ideally to give a picturesque view of the sea. We visited on a Sunday night for dinner, so the ambience was on point. The entire restaurant was lit beautifully with lights and the DJ was putting up a great piece with a good mix of western and Indian hits. If you’re not a fan of loud music, then avoid visiting on a Sunday night because the music is blasted to full volume. Service however was a bit questionable. The restaurant was hardly half full when we visited but we weren’t given our choice of table. On asking, they told that there was some technical glitch in their software which was stopping them from shifting us, which was an unconvincing argument. On some persuasion, we were given a better table. Next, we were denied drinking water and the reason cited was that they were out of normal drinking water and only had bottled water which was priced exorbitantly high. On asking another serving staff, we were served normal drinking water. I guess they were trying to pull a stunt to sell more bottled water which seems like a cheap shot at making a few more bucks considering that the average price on the menu is 1000+. 1) We ordered PERU PERU mocktail which was below average. The drink hardly had any flavor of guava which it was based on and tasted like a half-hearted attempt. 2) The GINGER BEER however was a good one. It was a bottled beer, so no extra points to Antares on that but I’d recommend that if you’re looking for a non-alcoholic beverage option over their mocktails. 3) The star of the night was the KERALA FISH MOILEE. The coconut milk gravy with black rice was itself a masterstroke but the drilled fish on top of it made it a meal to remember. Full marks to the chef for making sure that the dish was cooked to perfection. The portion size was also decent for 2 to share especially because of the creaminess that coconut milk brings in. All in all, Antares can be visited if you’re looking to enjoy a fine dining experience with club vibes. The staff however really needs to get their act together.

Antares Restaurant & Beach Club is a lovely spot located on the cliff of Vagator, North Goa. One of the most delightful aspects of the restaurant is the pleasant breeze that flows through the open-air dining area, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal while soaking in the view of the ocean. The restaurant serves woodfire pizzas that are truly delicious. The crust is crispy, and the toppings are flavorful. The share plates are also quite tasty, and the refreshing cocktails are the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Antares Restaurant & Beach Club also has 14 luxury cottages that offer stunning ocean views. The music at Antares is good and adds to the overall atmosphere of the place. The charcoal grill is another highlight of the restaurant. The food cooked on it has a unique smoky flavor was good. It's worth noting that Sarah Todd is no longer associated with Antares I guess so. However, the restaurant has managed to maintain its quality despite the change. However, the sushi at Antares was not up to the mark, and it's best to avoid it. The staff at Antares Restaurant & Beach Club were courteous and attentive. They made sure that we were comfortable and had a good time. Overall, Antares Restaurant & Beach Club is a fun place to be, and most of the time, it offers a fantastic experience. The restaurant is a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in North Goa and looking for a delightful dining experience

The receptionist and other staff were very helpful and humble. Checkin was fast and hassle free. They do not have the security guard at the night it seems and I found it quite unsafe because the people from outside had come inside the resort premises and were smoking up, there was no one from the resort to ask and question them. The place is good for young and party lovers because you'll find good pubs and restaurants near the resort. They play very loud music from 12 noon to 3am. You'll find it difficult to sleep if you sleep early. The rooms have a great view of the sea and the resort has its own private beach. Rooms are not maintained properly. You'll find insects and flies in the room. The Cottage's washroom is very small and wasn't really comfortable. The suite room is spacious but it's interior is also not maintained, you'll find water leakage at the ceiling. The door locks are old and don't work properly. They serve breakfast near the beach and the rooms are on a cliff so you have to climb every time and the stairs are very uncomfortable. The free breakfast is average, they had a few dishes like, boiled egg, chicken sausage, chole bhature, upma, cup cakes , tea, coffee, juice etc. They give a 15% discount if you eat at the Antares Restaurant, but your bill value should be more than 2500 INR.

I would recommend visiting this place during the day. I had visited Antares during the day when I was working for my older company and was a part of the digital marketing team and the view during the day is just beautiful but during the night you can't see much of anything. During the day the music was bearable and pleasant, during the night the music was horrible and extremely loud. The loud music fully spoilt our night and my eardrums surely must have got damaged because of it, and there was a family who got their tiny child next to us and I was just feeling horrible for that poor kid because if my friends and I couldn't bear the loud music idk how that poor kid who can't even speak suffered through it 🥺. If you have kids please don't come here. Please I ask Y'all to lower the volume of the music at night. We couldn't even have a decent conversation without having to scream. Other than that the service was very good and the staff was very sweet and helpful. The food was very good. The taxes and prices are a little steap, but I would assume it's okay to spend if you're going here once in a while. Overall I would say my experience in the afternoon was 9/10 and at night was 6/10. Side note: visit the absolute popsicle bar for some fun content for your Insta/TikTok.
