I recently stayed at Bells Beach Resort, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. Below is a breakdown of the pros and cons of my stay:
Pros:
Hot Shower: The only commendable aspect of the stay was the availability of a good, functional hot shower.
Clean Bed and Bathroom: The bed and bathroom were clean, which added a small sense of comfort to an otherwise disappointing experience.
Cons:
Wi-Fi and Network Issues: Jio's network is not available in the hotel, and their Wi-Fi is very weak, especially on the first floor. Additionally, the Wi-Fi did not work at all in my room (Room 109), which was extremely inconvenient.
False Star Rating: Despite claiming to be a 4-star property, the facilities and services did not meet even a 2-star standard.
Overpriced Food: The food was unreasonably expensive, making dining at the hotel an unpleasant experience.
Unjustified Price: We paid ₹20,000 for 3 nights for 3 people. The services provided were far below what such a price warrants.
Pool Restrictions: The pool closes at 7 PM, which is illogical and limits guest enjoyment in the evening.
Location Issues: The hotel is quite far from Calangute and Baga beaches, contrary to what they claim in their marketing.
Water Bottle Charges: Even after paying such a high price for the stay, guests are expected to bring their own drinking water or pay ₹50 per bottle, which is unacceptable.
Food and Alcohol Restrictions: Outside food and alcohol are not allowed in the rooms, which is inconvenient for guests.
Breakfast Not Included: Even after paying such a high price, breakfast was not included, which is disappointing and unacceptable.
Small Property: The property area is very limited and does not offer the typical "Goa vibe" one expects when staying in this destination.
Final Thoughts The only saving graces of this property were the hot shower and clean bed and bathroom, but overall, the experience was disappointing. The amenities and services do not justify the steep prices, and there is much room for improvement. Pool side was small area but clean always but there is no shower room there and only two beach relax chairs were there. Parking facility also good. You can get good condition rented bikes and cars just opposite hotel. Lift always working properly Game zone was closed during our visit in december 2023. Hotel is located in nice place and 1.5 km from calangute beach Infact baga is also 1.5 kms from there Standard rooms you might not like as they are in ground floor near poolside and not with balcony but all deluxe coty and pool view rooms have balcony they are worth paying little extra .. House keeping team daily cleans room and changes bedsheet Common washroom area in reception is unhygienic as its too small and not clean and only one common washroom is there in reception... No washroom in restaurant area Only one restaurant is there in ground floor. They have their packages for sights seeing and you can buy from them as they are safe because you are staying there other then those unknown irritating unsafe agents outside Infact they will give you discounted price then written price in catalogues OVERALL IN PEAK SEASON PRICES ARE AROUND 5K TO 8K And thats not worthy Infact season time 5k is enough and non season time 3.5k to 4 k is enough...

Point 2..you mentioned of footage...please check and see if I started fighting or highlighting. I simply pointed out the mistake in bill (though it was small.amount). I am more than happy to pay for what i ordered and what i got. It was you who was unaware of prices in your menu and billing. Instead of accepting the mismatch you started giving reasons and excuses. How stupid of you madame. The expression and look that you gave was as if I am asking for any freebie...but instead i was just asking to make corrections in bill. That raw look will surely irk anyone. Point 3. Regarding time of preparation. Since you are boasting on footage, please check it once again. Starter and main course order was placed together and specific instructions were given to waiter (from bhilai) to give starter first. Hope you understand meaning of starters and main course. But even after instructions, after 30-35 minutes starters were served and within next minute food. Sorry, but i have not seen a person who can finish starters within a minute..
Please watch footage properly and learn ettiquates of serving people ...even my 15 rs are hard earned and not even a single rupee extra can be paid for a frowning and pale expression of yours.
