Sabor: A Taste of Portuguese-Indo Fusion
Nestled in a quaint corner, Sabor is a delightful blend of Portuguese and Indo aesthetics. As you step in, the charming decor instantly transports you to another era, with its intricate tiles, rustic wooden furniture, and soft, ambient lighting. The walls adorned with vintage photographs and old-world memorabilia add to the cafe's unique character.
Culinary Delights: A Gastronomic Journey The name "Sabor," meaning "flavors" in Portuguese, truly encapsulates the essence of this cafe. The menu is a gastronomic journey, offering a blend of traditional and contemporary dishes. One must-try is the spaghetti with choris, a flavorful twist on a classic pasta dish. The pork and mushroom burger is another standout, featuring a juicy pork patty complemented by earthy mushrooms and savory spices. However, the star of the show is undoubtedly the churros in chocolate sauce - a perfect balance of crispy and soft, paired with rich, velvety chocolate sauce.
Ambiance and Music: A Nostalgic Experience Adding to the charm of Sabor is the old-school music that fills the air, creating a nostalgic ambiance. The selection of music perfectly complements the decor, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for a leisurely meal or a relaxing evening.
One of the delightful surprises at Sabor are the cute handmade cloth bags & pouches available for purchase. These bags, offered at an affordable price, encourage patrons to be responsible and eco-friendly. It’s a thoughtful touch that aligns with the cafe’s overall charm and ethos.
And then we meet Jack(I hope I got his name right): The Heart and Soul of Sabor At the heart of Sabor is Jack, the owner, whose warmth and hospitality make every visit memorable. Jack's & his friends passion for good food and great service shines through in every aspect of the cafe, from the welcoming smile to the attention to detail in every dish.
