I recently visited Yaki Zushi in Sangolda, Goa, and it was a delightful culinary experience that brought the vibrant flavors of Pan Asian cuisine to the heart of this beach paradise.

Ambiance The restaurant boasts a chic, contemporary decor with subtle Asian influences. The comfortable seating creates a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is particularly charming, offering a pleasant view and a gentle breeze.

Service The staff at Yaki Zushi were attentive, courteous, and well-informed about the menu. The service was prompt, and our server was happy to accommodate special dietary requests. It was evident that customer satisfaction is a priority here.

Food The menu offers a diverse range of dishes from various Asian countries, including Thailand, Japan, China, and Vietnam. We started with the Thai Tom Yum soup, which was a perfect balance of spicy and sour, packed with fresh seafood. The sushi platter was fresh and beautifully presented, with the tuna nigiri being a standout.

For the main course, we tried the Indonesian Nasi Goreng. The Nasi Goreng was flavorful and had the right amount of spice, complemented by the sunny side egg on top.

Drinks The cocktail menu is creative, with a variety of Asian-inspired drinks. I recommend the summer sipper, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced.

Price Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, the prices are reasonable. Expect to spend around ₹2000-2400for a meal for two, including drinks.

📍𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐈 𝐙𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐈, 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐚

@yakizushigoa is one of the most famous and visited Asian cuisine restaurants in Goa, located on the slope of Sangolda. They serve Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisines and are well known for their lovely Sushi Festivals! I visited them earlier this weekend, and had such a fun time, trying sushi for the first time ever!

• 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐘 𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐈 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐒 (4/5🌟) This was my first time trying sushi, and I would say, I liked it much more than I thought I would. It was tasty, filling, flavourful and really beautifully plated!

• 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐈 𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈 (5/5🌟) I'd give this dish more than 5 if there was a chance, because of the flavour bomb that it was! The sauces were gorgeous and chicken was perfectly marinated and juicy! Highly recommend this one!

• 𝐓𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐎 (4/5🌟) This dish is made with three kinds of mushrooms, tossed with Thai chilli, sesame and wine! It was very deep in flavour, and had a umami hit to it!

• 𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐁 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐄 (5/5🌟) I went Gaga for this off-the-menu item, as it was so so amazing! I am a big fan of crabs as it is, and trying this with the lovely subtle spice and stunning flavour of crab, made me even happier.

• 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐒 (5/5🌟) Our meal was completed by this amazing dessert, which was served with icecream! The wontons were crispy, and the filling was super fudgy and went perfectly with the icecream!

This restaurant in Goa truly stands out as the best I've experienced. It's not just about the delicious food and inviting ambiance, but also the exceptional service provided by the staff. Having tried several Asian restaurants in the area, none managed to capture my admiration. The authenticity of the food here, tailored to my preference for less spice, was nothing short of brilliant. The Thai green curry, rice, dimsums, basil squids, and pad thai were all exceptional choices from my order. Although the ramen wasn't to my liking and was returned, the staff surprised me with an apology and its omission from the bill.

The Japanese-inspired ambiance was wonderfully serene, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of East Asian culture. However, what truly sets this place apart is the staff. Their excellence shone from the beginning to the end of the meal, and even beyond. When I accidentally left my bag behind, they went the extra mile to track down my number and inform me. To my astonishment, everything in the bag, including cash, bank cards, and identification, was untouched. Even though we were the last customers to leave, the staff patiently waited for me to return, all the while wearing the same cheerful smiles.
