ZERO HOSPITALITY !!!
If you are thinking being a restaurant inside an old established Hotel at prime location the service & quality will be good then think twice. Me , My child & wife visited them on 5/12/22 - Monday evening @ 19:30. We were the second guest occupying the table. We should have moved out by the deserted look itself. Even being no rush on a monday evening 2 waiters in black uniform & a manager in white shirt nobody bothered to take our order. They were telling each other u go I m busy here etc. etc.
We ordered from A-la-Carte menu. 1 guy took our Jain nachos. Later we order jain Paneer Kurchan & 2 Tandoori roti which was taken by 2nd guy. After 10min. A 3rd guy came & confirmed sir ur subzi will be jain right? I said yes, i had guessed they had goofed up some confusion & made it regular. He said ok. Now some other guy came after 2-3 minutes & again asked me same question. I said the same. After all this the 3 guys were discussing & blaming each other for who made the mistake of jain / regular. Just imagine u sitting in a prestigious hotel TGB & the waiters discussing about your order confusion for 5-10 minutes like a road side stall. They should have some management regarding 1 person taking order instead of 3 different persons. Actually they had the buffet spread so i guess that’s the reason of no hospitality as they are used to standing idle & guest filling their plates themselves. And we took A-la-carte way.
Quality- Nachos was ok decent. Paneer Subzi seemed like packet wala stuff & not some authentic taste which it should be. Was not fresh too.

This is the 3rd time I have been disappointed by TGB and won't be ordering food from them again.
The only thing worth ordering on the menu is the jalebi and that's it. What a pity!
Original review:
Cafe Piano at The Grand Bhagwati in Ahmedabad has always been a great favourite of mine. Particularly for their amazing jalebis - a not-to-be-missed experience! Their chefs are very competent and the take-away service via Swiggy has been very satisfactory in terms of quantity/ value as well as the packaging.
We were very pleased with the palak paneer and paneer peshawari dishes. Well adjusted spices and a nice, sumptuous gravy. I did remark though that the level of salt was higher than usual this time. Hopefully just a one-off issue considering India has one of the highest percentage of hypertension patients in the world!
At the same time, I feel their naan and tandoori breads have come down in quality. The naans were thin and overcooked, making them tough to eat and the tandoori roti was similarly overcooked and were brittle like papad.
Hopefully they look at their reviews and will take suitable action to bring back their level to...
