I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mirch Masala’s S G Road branch, and it was an experience that truly impressed me. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance stood out, maintaining a balance between vibrant yet cozy, which immediately set the tone for a great meal.
Food:
We ordered a variety of dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and each one was a delight. • Vegetarian Delights: The Cheese Butter Masala was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The cheese added an extra layer of indulgence, making each bite a smooth, decadent treat. Paired with the Garlic Naan, which was soft and fluffy with just the right amount of garlic, it created the perfect combination. The naan was warm and complemented the masala beautifully, soaking up the sauce wonderfully. • Non-Vegetarian Wonders: The Chicken Delhi Style was the star of the show for the non-vegetarian options. Tender pieces of chicken cooked in a flavorful, slightly spicy gravy, this dish was packed with aromatic spices. The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, absorbing the rich flavors without being overwhelmed by heat. The naan (of our choice) was again a standout—freshly baked, slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside, a must-try pairing with any curry.
Service:
The staff at Mirch Masala were exceptional. Their attentiveness and prompt service truly enhanced the overall dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us in choosing some of the best dishes. The hospitality was top-notch, with staff making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
Cleanliness:
The restaurant maintained excellent cleanliness standards. The space was well-kept, with the dining area and restrooms all reflecting a high level of hygiene. It was clear that they take cleanliness seriously, which is always a good sign when dining out.
Overall Experience:
From the food to the service and the ambiance, Mirch Masala on S G Road delivered a memorable dining experience. The flavors, the variety, and the quality of dishes—whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian—were impressive. For anyone looking for a place that offers both fantastic food and a welcoming atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth visiting. Highly...

In Dhoom Dhaam's same setup, Angithi (अंगीठी), Angithi a pure vegetarian serving restaurant has evolved. A venture by Mirchasala.
There is no vast change in the interior as they share the same contemporary interiors with stylish modern furniture having traditional patterns and brass accents. Even large brass thalis are used for lighting that gives a modern look with a subtle Indian twist. The interior gives crisp positive vibes.
The only thing that has changed here is that they have tossed the non-vegetarian menu from the list and have made addons to some vegetarian dishes. I missed that gorpapadi cheesecake I used to eat in Dhom Dham. Its menu highlights the creative vegetarian culinary versions from different regions specialising in north Indian and street food.
We enjoyed: ▫Ratalu Nariyal Pattice which is famous in South Gujarat, with a smooth creamy based yoghurt dressing. I simply relished this as the filling of pattice was made from freshly grated coconut having a layer of purple yam. The combination of the two when fused in the mouth gives a heavenly feeling. ▫Makai ki Khichadi is a Gujarati dish made using ground corn boiled in buttermilk or water until the corn soaks up the entire. Then, spices are added and tempered with green chilli. I enjoyed it with curd. ▫Dahi Bhalla ▫Masala Papad ▫Mint Mojito ▫Masala Chhas ▫Baked Gulab Jamun with Rabadi.
Hospitality was too good. I simply enjoyed the food that not only satisfied my taste buds but also impressed my soul.
