Hotel Shivashish — Hotel in Gujarat

This is the worst place to stay. In this building there are 3 hotels on each floor. I checked the reviews before booking but after going ghere i realised all the reviews were fake. Staff show NO cooperation. Very dirty place. Hair in all over the room and washroom. Stained bedsheets, dirty pillow cover. Congested rooms. No ventilation in room. Dust coming out of AC. We have to ask the staff again and again to clean the room, to provide towel, shampoo, soap. They won't even give basic toothpaste toothbrush. No hygiene at all. No full size mirror in room. They won't answer the call on reception. We always have to go to reception if we need anything. No hot water for bath. We have to go to reception everytime to ask them to switch on the geyser. They won't provide 1 litre complementary water bottle. They will only give half litre bottle. Hotel lift is very dirty. People have spited every were in lift and parking. Food has no quality. They have only 3 options in breakfast. Poha, upma and aloo Paratha. I tried all three things in my 3 days stay. Found hair in poha, small crushed stone in allo paratha. Food was not fresh and not hygienic. Nothing is good about this place. Staff is arogant not cooperative. Don't assume this hotel good as per the photos they have uploaded on website. That will misguide and you will regret...

Stayed for 2 days. The room was clean and the breakfast was quite good – those were the main positives.

However, several issues really affected the overall experience. i had to call and ask for a basic hotel toiletries kit, which should have been provided without asking. The AC in the room was not cooling properly and i ended up sweating while trying to sleep – it seemed like the unit hadn’t been serviced in a while. There was also no hot water available for showering during my stay, which was frustrating.

Although they claim to offer parking, I had to park my vehicle outside the hotel, which was not ideal.

Overall, the stay was below expectations and the facilities definitely need...

Very well furnished rooms (AC didn't work properly tho), but the service is lack luster.... For a room of 2 people they only provided amenities for a single person (1 towel, 1 bottle, 1 glass, etc). For a standard room at ₹2200/- it is not acceptable. And don't get me started on the location.... If you've got a family, just don't stay here, simple and plain... Also the owner will request you to give a positive review as he earns a commission of sorts from each 5 star review, that's the reason for so many 5 star reviews.... He might even comment on this to say that I'm lying....
