All-hype, no feels.

I am an ardent coffee ☕ lover. Well, that's an understatement in itself. But what's more disappointing is the underwhelming experience I, along with my friends, had while visiting this "newly opened coffee house" in Sindhu Bhavan Road.

Why the disappointment?

Well for starter, very cluttered space, well-lit yet cluttered. Secondly, slow service. To top it, the kind of warm welcome you expect from coffee houses, well I didn't received that. The moment I stepped in the outlet and was greeted with a lackluster hello from the staff, I knew things are not going to be sunny.

Yet, as a hopeful, we got a table and placed our order.

My friend ordered ☕ a Cinnamon Dulce Latte (⭐⭐ star out of five) ☕ I ordered Mocha Freeze (⭐⭐) 🧋 And another friend ordered a Melbourne Freak Shake (0)

The real trouble started once we placed the order and made the payment online.

Now it was a waiting game. 20 mins elapsed after placing the order and we asked the staff about ETA of our order. The response of "time toh lagta hai na sir, please wait for 20-30 mins" had our eyebrows raised. My mind was screaming "death of hospitality", yet I controlled myself.

At exactly 45th minute from the time we placed our order, our items arrived.

But the drama doesn't end here.

While we were sipping away our drinks, the Melbourne Freak Shake was still being missed by my dear friend.

We enquired, and this time another manager walked right upto us and literally blasted, "base ready hai sir, bina whipped cream ke toh de nahi sakta hun na mein aapko order, please wait for 10-20 mins"

We were not sure how to respond to this.

After 10 mins, the same person comes to our table, meekly says sir we are out of whipped cream, I can cancel your order and issue a refund. At this point, we want to get out of there, we are hating the response, the dearth of even an ounce of hospitality and accountability.

We asked him to cancel and refund.

But as we had already made the payment, they couldn't do an online refund and again asked us if we would like to have mango shake or something else.

**If I order a raincoat, an umbrella won't suffice

Well, I don't make opinions and I am sure they are great, they might even have great coffees. It was not our day to be pleased and thus the disappointment.

But I wish them well and do hope they amazingly well, in such a competitive...
