Varietea Lounge & Terrace — Restaurant in Gujarat

First thing i have to speak about - the view. Its stunning. This would be the first thing that i would come to this place for. You get to see the beauty of late night Ahmedabad just in this place, good for a romantic dinner or a social event. The whole set up of the place is also awesome. Modern, simple and elegant. However, the indoor sitting area can be improved. Second thing, service. Very passionate and helpful staff, at least most of them. The person who welcomed us at the entrance did everything to get us the perfect spot. I would like to specially mention that they are so nice that they actually shown us whether we liked that seat or not and after we said yes, made us wait for 2mins just to keep the table perfectly clean as if you are at hyatt. Thats one thing that the steward did really well. Only the guy who came to take the order was really weird. He kept checking on us whether we want to order or not and since we had came here for dinner and talks we took some time to decide and he would just not stop checking on us till we give him our orders. Also he had unnecessarily pushed us to take the freak shakes while we had insisted twice that we wont be able to finish so we will just got for a normal kitkat shake and he looked upset after our refusal. However i would say all this from one guy has not changed my impression towards this place since the manager (i guess) had really made an awesome impression in my mind about this place. But i would say if this waiter didnt exist the whole experience would had been a bliss. Third thing, food. Food was good. We ordered this four cheese ravioli, Primavera pizza, Caesar Salad and a kitkat shake. Four cheese ravioli was not as authentic as i imagined. Cheese flavour was there but im quite sure its not only four cheese cos it tasted more like Creamy alfredo than four cheese. It might have happened that the cheese and cream ratio was not managed that well. But it was decent i would say, too heavy for one to finish alone but taste was decent. Pizza was also good. Just that some part was burnt from the bottom so it was giving some bitter taste in particular few pieces, rest were fine. Caesar salad being a vegetarian version, it was really nice and up to the mark PERFECT. Creamy dressing and the amount of seasoning with the veggies and croutons was just pure goodness! I would say as a former non-vegetarian, i do not regret becoming a vegetarian having Caesar salad from here. Kitkat shake was good decent, nothing much to mention about. All in all we had a great time here, one star deducted becos of some imperfections in terms of the service and the food. It was an awesome experience to come here for a girls nightout. *Varietea Rooftop Cafe * . Visited this place few days back. It's an awesome place to visit with your friends and family with amazing ambience and awestruck view from the top floor. You can almost get a good view of Sindhu Bhavan Road (SBR) . . In Frame---- Peri Peri Paneer . Price- ₹389 . 📍📍 - @varietearooftop , Bodakdev . Peri Peri Paneer is perfect for a Cheese pull but the taste was not so good though as Peri Peri consists of spiciness but this was not at all spicy and there was paneer and paneer everywhere . Not worth the price . What else we tried ? Cheesy Mex Fries (3/5) -239₹ Cheese Nachos are meant to be spreader or liquid cheese on the top but they gave a bowl of Nachos and with that cheese sauce and salsa and a handful of French fries which were not that good. . Butter Garlic Fries (3/5) - 259₹ This was tried by my friends and they said there that was no difference between regular French fries and this they just added onion on the top of the regular French fries and took more money , it's taste was also not that good. . Lemon Iced Tea (2/5) - 249₹ This was the worst ice tea , lemon makes something sour but this tasted so sweet like a sugarcane juice , the quantity was well good but the taste and the money doesn't satisfy. . Ferrero Rocher shake (4/5) - 269₹ This is the best thing to have in the menu and this satisfies both quantity and quality of this shake 👌 . What we liked there ? Perfect ambience and awestruck view of Sindhu Bhavan Road . Let me start by saying I love the Varietea in Prahladnagar. But not this outlet.

Ahmedabads weather isn't rooftop dine friendly for major part of the year. Even though they've installed coolers, they hardly do any help. The service here is pathetic. I asked for a fork, I got a dessert spoon. I asked for a fork again, I got a table spoon. I finally had to ask saying 'Bhaiyya. Kaante wala chammach do'. 2.1 They don't serve the food on your plate. But the Prahladnagar one does. When I asked the waiter to serve, he said, 'We don't serve.' 2.2 Time from ordering your food till having it placed on your table feels like an eon.

The only good part about this place is the quality of food. I absolutely love it. Always have. Do try : Classico Pasta(Prahladnagar)/Creme Creole is my fixed order everytime I visit Varietea. A must try. Maska Bun. The Popular Burger Mexican Sizzler

The ice teas are a bit off. For some reason, they all have a bad after taste. Green apple, Raspberry or Lemon Ice tea. Every time I try, it smells like barf.
