Date: 4th Feb 2024 We ordered Veg. Manchow soup, Half Tandoori chicken, Butter Milk, Butter tandoori roti and one sabzi but name I do not remember. As this night there was a waiting of 15-20mins, we had to dine upstairs on the 1st Floor. For waiting there was a sitting arrangement. The staff was pathetic, had to spoon, fork and tissue. Even the soul was delayed which never happened on the Ground Floor. Never sitting there at 1F ever again. Staff was not attentive at all. The ground staff is senior.
Date: 27th Jan 2024 We ordered tandoori Chicken half, manchow soup, Jaipuri sabzi, Butter tandoori roti and buttermilk. Soup was as delicious as before, Tandoori chicken had upper flesh which was good but it too had one tangdi without flesh which was burnt. Jaipuri was normal in taste and was not spicy at all, had to ask for fried chilly separately. Buttermilk tasted like it was stirred curd. This is the second time that they put water bottle without over consent. As they want to add to our bill, they never ask. Serving was fast. Again we got the table easily at the time when we arrived. Hygiene was maintained. It is spacious, comfortable, enough parking.
Date: 10th Dec 2023 We ordered veg manchow soup, Tandoori Chicken(half), veg kohlapuri and roti. Roti was half raw. Sabzi was okay in taste. Liked Tandoori Chicken with green chutney. Soup was perfect as needed before main course. They have less parking space. Had to park aside of road near gandhigram railway station behind the restaurant. They served food timely. It got crowdy...
Β Β Β Read moreI recently dined at Food Inn in Ahmedabad, and I can confidently say itβs the best non-vegetarian restaurant in the city, hands down. Having explored over 50 restaurants in Ahmedabad, nothing comes close to the exceptional experience Food Inn delivers. Their menu is a non-veg loverβs paradise, with standout dishes like the perfectly spiced, smoky Tandoori Chicken and the irresistibly crispy Chicken Lollipop that never fail to impress. The highlight, though, is their Butter Chicken β a masterpiece with the perfect balance of sweetness, tanginess, and juicy flavor that lingers on your palate. Another gem is their Chicken Pulao, bursting with aromatic spices and generous chunks of tender tandoori chicken, making every bite a delight. Beyond the food, Food Inn shines with its reasonable pricing, impeccable cleanliness, and top-notch service. The servers are incredibly hospitable, attentive, and prompt, ensuring a seamless dining experience. If youβre in Ahmedabad and craving non-vegetarian food, Food Inn is the ultimate destination β itβs simply the best restaurant in the city. Must try Tandoori chicken, butter chicken and...
Β Β Β Read moreReview: Worst Dining Experience Near Gandhi Gram Station
After 10β11 visits, I can confidently say this restaurant is one of the worst food experiences Iβve had. Weekends are especially terrible β they donβt serve sizzlers (claiming it takes too much time), so the entire dining experience feels rushed, as if the only goal is to eat quickly and leave.
Food Quality:
Schezwan Chicken Rice: 1/10 β bland, poorly made.
Hot & Sour Chicken Gravy: 1/10 β nothing more than a tomato ketchupβbased gravy.
Tandoori Roti: 3/10 β dry, badly prepared.
Butter Chicken: 3/10 β disappointing flavor, nowhere close to authentic.
Service & Professionalism: There is no sense of professionalism. Complaints are ignored, there is no grievance counter, and the staff simply doesnβt care. When I raised issues with the server, they were dismissed.
Overall: Terrible food for the charges they take. On weekends, it feels like outright loot with no service quality or accountability. Highly disappointing and not...
