Jalaram Khichdi Restaurant — Restaurant in Gujarat

One of the best place in surat to have some great gujarati food. The place is small and ambience is good.

They even serve good punjabi subjis.

I went on a Sunday. The place was really crowded and we were lucky to get a table .

We ordered Ringan nu bhartu and lasaniya baraka. I was blown away by the great taste of both the dishes. The lasaniya bataka was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. It felt that it had a good amount of garlic. Ringan nu bhartu was equally awesome.

I also ordered Bhindi fry but it was not available at that time.

In punjabi subji I had ordered paneer chatpata and palak paneer. Paneer chatpata was good and palak paneer turned out to be a disappointment.

Their palak khichdi is the best . Also its quantity is great. And is kind of enough for a regular person .

The service was great. When the dishes didnt come for like 15 minutes I asked them and they said that they make all things fresh. And it really turned out to be great.

Visited this place along with my family for lunch. I had palak khichdi and my parents had a thali in their menu. My brother ordered for mushroom masala which the waiter/person who took the order said would be on the table within 15-20 minutes. I and my parents finished our lunch but the mushroom masala that he had ordered hadn't even arrived. On asking several times the answer they gave was "I will check". After a while a person came up to us and informed us of the fact that there was no mushroom in the first place. The management of the place is pathetic. My brother just got up and left the place, didn't even show his disappointed at the management which my mother very well did as he didn't have lunch, she totally lost her cool and got very angry at the staff and the manager.

NOTE- They really need to improve...

I have visited many jalaram branches, specially for rajwadi khichadi but this branch is becoming worse day by day! I have ordered mix shak and rajeadi khichdi.. it was having very bad taste as rajvadi khichdi is my favourite dish but i coudn't eat tht more than one spoon🤮 and shak was also having no taste and i have ate roti with achar.. last time also i got very bad buttermilk and rice.. both the times i have complained there about taste but the guy who was seating on reception was acting like he is angry on me bcz i have compalined.. i have seen many other costomers also who were complaining there. I have humble request to the owners please look in to this matter. And please maintain original taste of jalaram for which it...
