Visited Sankalp at Samudra Complex yesterday for dinner and realised the importance of ambience and service on overall food experience one gets as it was sheer disappointment. Firstly, the behaviour of managers was such as if they did a favour to us by allowing us to dine there. They just wanted us to maybe finish our meal in a minute or so and leave just because we had ordered la carté food on the menu so maybe we didn't deserve to have dinner with any peace. Secondly, we weren't given water once we finished food despite asking for the same multiple times as they are concerned with the number of bills they cash per day and not customer satisfaction. Thirdly, we couldn't finish entire meal so we asked for take-away of the same but they literally tried to avoid doing same but sarcastically pointing that "packing such small quantity?", why not brother? We don't follow the culture where wastage of food is appreciated. In the end, they did pack upon our persistence but when we got back and opened the parcel, we realised it was all mixed up in a totally messy manner. The food is what every chain of Saffron-Sankalp offers so we're not amused by taste, chefs literally do a good job there. This is literally more so a reason that hospitality must be prioritised rather than merely fitting maximum people possible without giving them their due attention or basic services like water to drink. We were on a trip to Gujarat and I took my family there considering the name of place and value it offers everywhere else but I'd say this restaurant really needs to level up their customer service else just don't allow more people to come than your bandwith allows to serve as it really feels disappointing to have your food with so much of judging/capitalist eyes on you when...

Read moreIn this expeditious world it is undoubtely true that world is now changing so the food but description of this restaurant and it's food is good and moreover ambience of the restaurant is best. It is believed by group of people that saffron restaurant has developed more and has various franchises and among all those branches I'd go to C.G. Road branch with our family and opted for an unlimited dinner that night I tasted manchow soup as a first dish in our menu and it was absolutely fabulous. Beyond doubt there are several compelling reasons why some people believe that sizzler that we had is not good choice I personally didn't liked. Secondly as per the trend of growth in FMCG market you need to add great taste to surrvive in this industry but also you shouldn't compromise to quality with great quality and great customer service things will get more easier. Interestingly there is another perspective to prevail upon is that downside of this restaurant I personally didn't like the sizzler so my recommendation is that you improve taste of item. To conclude I summarize if you're on low budget and then you can go to this restaurant or if you want to try food items from this restaurant you can go for once in...
