⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Dining Experience!

We recently visited Welcome Cafe Cambay in Vadodara as part of my shifting to new city along with my family we decided to stay in welcomhotel by ITC at tge heart of beautiful city and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home.

The food was simply delicious—each dish was prepared with great care and flavor. Whether it was their signature snacks or main courses, everything was fresh, tasty, and served with perfection. The menu offers a fantastic variety, and I highly recommend trying their specialties!

What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly polite, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable dining experience. Their accommodating nature and friendly smiles added so much to the meal.

Overall, Welcome Cafe Cambay excels in food quality, service, and ambiance. If you're in Vadodara and looking for a place with great food and even better hospitality, this is it! Highly recommended! At ~800/person(tax+tip included) breakfast at cambay isn't the cheapest option. But with sugar free options and soymilk available, they have made sure buffet people don't have issued due to dietary restrictions. Everything is mentioned with warnings regarding dairy and gluten. A few meats(cold cuts) , about 5-8 Indian dishes, oatmeal, porridge, breads, cereals, salad, sprouts should have something for everyone. There were a plathora of juices shakes and the standard coffee tea available. You can request for your preferred non alcoholic drinks, and They generally get it available. There were limited options in terms of sweets, with a few donuts and if you qualify Chocos as a sweet. You wouldn't be able to satisfy a sweet tooth here. Freshly prepared items like dosa and scrambled eggs were very good. Rest was great too. I didn't have the many other dishes so won't comment on them, but the people at the table enjoyed the food. An absolute fan of ITC but the food is lacklustre. The buffet selection was below average and the taste was average at best.

This place definitely needs a sprucing up both in terms of decor and also menu.

Food: We went for Sunday lunch/brunch. The menu had three starters, paneer hariyali, manchurian and tempura veggies. The manchurian were salty and the tempura batter was so so thick that it was undercooked. For the main course there was paneer tikka masala, ajwani bhindi and dal tadka! Dal was tasty but watered down. Subzis were decent. For rice they had subz biryani which was the only savings grace for the main course. Really tasty and flavourful. The desserts were subpar and we tried and had to leave them midway through.

Service: Responsive and courteous staff. Always welcoming one with a genuine smile!
