Carnatic Cafe is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the city, offering a delightful South Indian vegetarian dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable meal.

The menu at Carnatic Cafe is a celebration of South Indian cuisine, with a wide array of traditional dishes that cater to all palates. Whether you're a fan of dosas, idlis, vadas, or a combination of them all, you'll find an impressive selection to choose from. The chefs here have mastered the art of creating authentic flavors, and the quality of ingredients used is evident in every bite.

One of the highlights of Carnatic Cafe is their dosa section. The dosas are light, crispy, and generously filled with a variety of flavorful stuffings. Whether you prefer the classic masala dosa, the tangy tomato-onion dosa, or the unique paneer-filled dosa, you won't be disappointed. The accompanying chutneys and sambar are the perfect accompaniments, providing a burst of flavors that complement the dosas perfectly.

In addition to dosas, Carnatic Cafe also offers a selection of idlis and vadas that are equally delicious. The idlis are soft and fluffy, served with a range of chutneys and sambar. The vadas, on the other hand, are perfectly fried to a golden crispness, with a soft and flavorful center.

The service at Carnatic Cafe is friendly and efficient. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and is happy to recommend dishes based on your preferences. The wait times are generally reasonable, although it can get crowded during peak hours, which is a testament to the restaurant's popularity.

The only area where Carnatic Cafe falls slightly short is in its limited dessert options. While the traditional South Indian sweets like kesari and payasam are available, a wider selection of desserts would be a welcome addition to the menu.

Overall, Carnatic Cafe is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic South Indian vegetarian cuisine. With its inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive service, it offers a dining experience that is both satisfying and memorable. Whether you're a South Indian food enthusiast or simply looking to explore new flavors, Carnatic Cafe is a culinary destination that...

Walking distance from my office in Sec 15, I decided to have dinner after listening to the positive word-of-mouth feedback from colleagues. Spacious, peaceful, less crowded, simple and beautifully laid-out furniture, overall the ambience inside the restaurant is relaxing and one can enjoy with family and friends.

My colleague Karan ordered Orange and coffee flavored ice-cream. They took out two scoops and placed it in a coconut shell, interesting. From the main course, we ordered their famous ‘Malleswaram 18th Cross’ Dosa (detailed description from the Menu is visible in a photo clicked while ordering).

The Dosa is a really unique experience for Delhi NCR customers. In most, famous South Indian restaurants, the stuffing inside is usually a potato/veggie/paneer paste. Not this, though. One, they use good quality butter to fry the Dosa batter. Second, they stuff the Dosa with ample amount of Gunpowder. What is Gunpowder, I asked the Manager/Executive, quite amused with the word? They mix 3-4 varieties of lentils and roast it. Then make a powder out of it mixing a variety of spices to perk up the taste. That powder is then stuffed inside the Dosa. It has got a spicy, grainy taste to it and is a unique experience.

The green chutney on the plate is the tastiest and (I could not verify this) tasted like ‘Tapioca’ paste. Yum and fresh. Equally tasty were the red and white chutneys. The Sambar was good too. The chef can reduce the amount of butter in the Dosa because it makes the preparation a little greasy. My colleague Karan pointed out that reducing the butter may compromise the rich brown/red look of the Dosa. Hmm, I would not play around with the look if I were pitching my best-selling stuff. So you taste it and decide if you found it a little greasy too!

Overall a fun and unique experience when it comes to the Dosa and it is indeed recommended that you come with your family, friends and colleagues to savour it. You won’t be disappointed, take my word for it....

✨Carnatic Cafe is a completely South Indian Delicacy resturant. They are specialised in Various Varieties of Tasty Dosa, Idlis, uttapam etc.

✨I recently visited Carnatic Cafe at 32 milestone and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is conveniently located in Gurgaon 32nd milestone mezzanine floor and offers a great selection of authentic South Indian dishes. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable, and the staff members are friendly and attentive.

✨I tried the dosas and uttapam , which were freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The dosa was also flavorful, fluffy and crispy on the outside. I appreciated the use of authentic ingredients and spices in the three chutneys, which added to the overall appeal.

✨The menu at Carnatic Cafe is a harmonious symphony of traditional South Indian dishes. The dosas were delightfully crisp, while the uttapam were soft and fluffy, just as they should be. The sambar had a rich depth of flavor, and the coconut chutney was a refreshing complement to the dishes. The staff at Carnatic Cafe were friendly but not so much attentive to the order , providing helpful suggestions and ensuring a comfortable dining experience. Overall, Carnatic Cafe is a heaven for those seeking an authentic taste of South Indian cuisine.

✨We had Malleshwaram Dosa which is their signature dish(fluffy from inside and crispy from outside with gun powder and peanut paste) Manina Maga Dosa was nice too which had peanut chutney paste and was open flat dosa and last was Mysore Masala Dosa which had garlic flavour.

❤️Highly recommended place. Must go for it💯❤️

✨With impeccable service, great ambience, warm and comfortable interiors, a welcoming environment and a scrumptious menu, we recommend you to try them out soon.
