Tucked away in the bustling food scene of 32nd Milestone, Gurgaon, The Fifth Avenue Cafe offers a cozy and inviting escape with its warm ambiance and soothing vibes. The cafe’s charming decor and sweet, relaxed atmosphere make it an ideal spot to unwind, but my recent visit left me with mixed feelings about the food offerings, particularly the pastries. The highlight of my visit was the Strawberry and Kiwi Shake, which was nothing short of outstanding. This refreshing smoothie was a delightful surprise, bursting with vibrant fruit flavors that were perfectly balanced—sweet, tangy, and utterly refreshing. The shake was so good that I found myself wishing I had ordered two instead of venturing into the pastry section. It was a standout drink that I’d happily return for. On the other hand, the Pineapple Pastry was a bit of a letdown. While it evoked a wave of nostalgia, reminiscent of the classic pineapple pastries from Aggarwal Sweets, it fell short in terms of freshness. The texture and flavor didn’t quite live up to the fond memories it triggered, leaving me wishing for a fresher batch. Additionally, the variety of pastries on display was limited, with little in the way of fresh or innovative options, which was disappointing for a cafe with such a promising vibe. Despite the pastry misstep, The Fifth Avenue Cafe shines with its cozy ambiance and welcoming feel, making it a great spot to relax with a drink in hand. The Strawberry and Kiwi Shake is a must-try, and I’d recommend sticking to their beverage menu for a satisfying experience. With a little more attention to their pastry selection and freshness, this cafe could truly become a go-to spot at...
Read moreI went to the bakery because I wanted a dry cake to travel with . There was nothing readily available. So they told me to go back home and order on Zomato. When I told them I was right there and that I live one kilometer away , and there were ate last six staff members standing around they offered to take my order and have it sent home. - a dry cake so I could travel with it. Many iced cakes were available. Apart from my address I tried to give them landmarks , asked him one of them would be delivering it ? They said they would and pretended to hear me out . Half an hour later than the committed delivery time, a person called , had been told none of the notes on how to find my place . I finally received an ICED CAKE
The response from the Bakery is a clever one. Making the reader believe they will 'introduce' dry cakes. ie. made my expectation seem wrong. a lot of that is happening these days with customer service. Pretending to care about my experience but absolving themselves. Same lack of attention to detail on reading the review. the dry cake was at the store but half finished. order was accepted as NO icing.(no new dry cakes to be introduced) . Didn't care about delivery time, delivery address details or type of cake . Also no attention to understanding the review except to show other readers that the poor things will introduce what this irrational reviewer wants since they dont have it at the moment- except at the store.. It wasn’t my first time to the bakery but yes last time for sure . Pls don’t take your kids there it’s a horrible place . You will spend money also and will be humiliated to another level . Also I would like to mention the pictures I was taking was as per permission by the restaurant . Pathetic place full of liers and top of it …. Treating kids like ….. excuse me this is breach of our safety in a free country . None of you have rights to do that . PATHETIC PLACE FOR ALL THE REASONS .
