So the night was cold and the streets weren’t too busy, we needed to have a good meal before we’d hurry, back home to the warmth of a roof above our head, before calling it a night and returning to our bed.

That said, the food was really good, I was a little confused as we walked the 32nd milestone complex on where to binge. We visited a couple of places uncertain of what cuisine we’d try and we finally decided upon RYU. The name reminds me of my favourite street fighter character and the ambience was quite nice too. They’ve got both an indoor and an outdoor seating and despite the cold winter night we sat outside on the terrace where we decided to have some Hendricks Gin with some Ale to kick things off.

We got our first appetiser pretty quick, veg spring rolls that were oh so nice and crunchy and just perfectly made. The second appetiser a nice lemongrass and Basil I think chicken skewers which were a nice change from the regular one with peanut sauce. By then we were down with our first drink and finally got our main course with the second set. The veg Thai green curry was really nice with the sticky rice. It wasn’t the best we’ve had but it was still in the top five.

✨ We ordered a variety of dishes at RYU Rooftop Bar and were quite impressed. From the spicy richness of North Indian cuisine to the freshness of the sushi, each bite was yummy. The pasta was comforting, and there sizzler’s were crispy and delicious.
