I recently visited this cafe named COMO Pizzeria which is located in 32nd Avenue ,Gurgaon. 32nd Avenue is a beautiful beautiful place to hangout with your friends and family or to go on a date with someone. The place is widely spread in huge area there are good amount of cafes that you can visit . I really loved the area as it was well decorated with little lamps and pretty torans. The whole area was surrounded by the trees which was soothing to the eyes. After a nice and decent walk we reached COMO Pizzeria. The cafe had both outside and inside seating. I wanted to sit out as the outside area was all surrounded by beautiful plants and trees which offered us a serene view. But we had to sit inside because of the weather. As we stepped inside we were pleased by the softly lit and antique finish raw and rusty ambience which gave cafe an overall classic look. It had a cover of 25-30 people max. First we sat on a table in the centre and later they offered us a table by the window through which we took an advantage of the picture worthy weather. The server gave us the scanner for the menu . You cannot pre decide your menu as their menu keeps on changing every few months. We ordered Bhoot Jolokia wings which were way too spicy ,the server warned us to re consider our decision but hum strong hai toh we ordered it anyways. When they served the wings on the table it looked scary as it was black in color. We couldn’t even finish them as it was so spicy that my mouth was burning. The flavour didn’t suit our liking as it was too strong and spicy but those who like very spicy should definitely give it a try. After that we had woodfire smoked chicken pizza it was in naples base so crust was very soft. They served it with chilly oil and garlic oil, at first we couldn’t figure out how to use that dispenser then the server saw us struggling with the bottles and then he offered to help. They topped the pizza with freshly grated parmesan cheese. The pizza was delightful and the chicken toppings were succulent and juicy it is now one of my favourites i do recommend you to try pizzas from this place . Then we ordered we ordered mac n cheese it was really delicious and one thing which was new that they garnished it with caramelised onions and surprisingly it tasted good. The dish was really hot and they warned us not to touch the dish. The top was perfectly bakes and was crisped to perfection. It was so cheesy creamy from the centre. We drizzled chilly oil and garlic oil to the pasta and it uplifted the flavour even more. Then we asked for the cheque and they took a bit long to get it. And i feel that the prices were a bit on the higher side. Overall it was a very wholesome and fulfilling experience. The weather was cherry on the top.
In short I recommend you to visit there because I’ll surely...
Read moreI recently visited COMO-Pizzeria & Cafe and had a somewhat mixed experience. While the ambience of the place was pleasant, I found the overall value for money to be lacking. Ambience: The cafe pizzeria has a charming and inviting atmosphere. The interior decor is tasteful, creating a cozy and relaxed ambiance. The seating arrangements were comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment was commendable. The soft background music added to the overall pleasant vibe of the place. For this aspect, I would rate COMO-Pizzeria & Cafe positively.
Food: Unfortunately, I found the food at COMO-Pizzeria & Cafe to be underwhelming, considering the prices charged. The menu offered a variety of options, particularly focusing on pizzas. However, despite the decent presentation, the taste fell short of expectations. The flavors lacked depth and were quite average. It was disappointing to spend a significant amount of money and receive only mediocre taste in return. Price: One of the significant drawbacks of COMO-Pizzeria & Cafe is its pricing. The menu prices are on the higher side, which would typically be justified if the food quality and taste were exceptional. However, given the average taste and experience, I believe the prices are not justified. It becomes hard to justify spending a substantial amount of money when the culinary experience fails to impress. Service: The service at the cafe pizzeria was adequate, with the staff being polite and attentive. They were prompt in taking orders and delivering food. However, the lackluster food quality overshadowed the decent service. In conclusion, while the ambience at COMO-Pizzeria & Cafe was pleasant and the service satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by the underwhelming taste of the food, especially considering the relatively high prices. For those seeking a visually appealing setting for a meal, the cafe may be worth a visit. However, if you are looking for a culinary experience that matches the price tag, you may want to explore other options...
Read moreAn amazing dining experience on weeknight! We took a table of three inside and we’re greeted by warm and very kind servers.
They recommended few cocktails for us and they were a hit! For food we got the burrata salad topped with balsamic reduction, an all time favourite.
For pasta we got the truffle ravioli, a new addition , very flavourful and rich , bursting with blue cheese .
The mushroom risotto is a staple for me at every Italian restaurant I dine at, and como does it very well!!, cooked to perfection.
The puttanesca topped with burrata was tangy, spicy and hit all the right sports, would definitely recommend.
Through the truffle margarita was obviously hiked in price, the decadent truffle cheese flavour burst though every bite, hence is was a win!! I wish they introduce truffle shavings in the future. However it is a classic Neapolitan style of base, hence may not suit everyone’s liking.
The dessert was very warm and satiating, the churros were fired to perfection accompanied with chocolate sauce. I would recommend the quantity of the sauce to be improved.
Overall a wonderful experience , and changed the way I hired the place since my last visit.
Prices are steeper but the quality and ambience...
