Tried Sandhouse for the first time and honestly, I really liked it. I ordered the Eggs Divine, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Hazelnut Frappe, and a Mint Mojito. Everything tasted good – nothing mind-blowing, but definitely well-made and comforting. The Eggs Divine were cheesy and warm, and the chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside, paired nicely with the mash and creamy sauce.
What I really loved was the ambience – cozy, aesthetic, and super chill. The kind of place where you can actually sit for a couple of hours and work without feeling rushed or awkward. Big bonus points for that!
Drinks were refreshing too – the frappe had a nice hazelnut kick without being overly sweet, and the mojito was crisp and minty, just as it should be.
All in all, it’s a solid spot. Good food, great vibe, and really good value for money. Would definitely go back – especially if I need a quiet corner to work with good food...
Read moreSandhouse is a the very first cafe that you find on your right as soon as you enter the 32nd milestone complex but it's a bit far from the main walkway. As has nice entrance and a seating area and L shaped. The seats are nice and the seating area feels cozy. The place provide you with charging and USB points. One good thing about this placed is it's course proximity to the common washrooms of the 32nd milestone so you don't have to walk much in case you get a nature's call while sitting in the washroom. Parking is available at the basement inside the common parking area for the complex and if I talk about the rates then they are mildly on the higher side. Must try white sauce pasta and burgers. They also have a bit of outdoor seating but I liked one on the inside. Overall, it's a good place to either hangout or have meetings or just work in...
Read moreThe food is nice. Their service is really fast and we requested the server to be quick as we were in a hurry and he did a great job! They don't bug someone to keep ordering even if they are enjoying their time for quite a while which is something I liked.
One thing I just didn't like was that they included service charges in the bill. This was when SCI made it a mandate that restaurants cannot add service charges in the bill by default.
Upon informing the restaurant that I don't want to pay it they started throwing tantrums saying no one ever complaint about this and it is their software that adds the extra fee etc. Etc. And at the end their manager informed that this is nothing wrong and asked me if I still want it back.
If you want to Levi this fee then ask the customer verbally if they want this to be added...
