I'm writing this review after few days of discussion with my family. We booked Pind Balluchi, sector 29 for our baby's naming ceremony.
Starting with the all positive things about the venue was the food . It was amazing and tasty (especially Mutton Rogan Josh, Kurkuri Bhindi, Rahra Chicken, Shahi Paneer, Daal Makhani and Pindi chole) . Decoration and the sitting arrangements for the guests was good. They welcomed and guided our guest to the hall with a smile.
Now comes the things which highly disappointed us. The stage decoration: The event was of naming ceremony and the banner which they displayed was of Happy Birthday. After telling numerous times to the staff to change that banner was totally in vain. They were giving hundreds of excuses and nothing changed. The ceremony continued with the same happy birthday banner. The name revealing: The box was not correctly tied. They used the simple tape to hold the box on the ceiling which kept on falling on the guest. And when we revealed the name the box fell on our head almost hitting the baby (which was charged seperately). The chairs: The table cloths and chairs were dirty and stained. The Starters: The starters were served only to the guest who came early and we have to keep them reminding to serve it to the guest who were little late. Fish Amritsari vanished after couple of rounds and the chicken tikka was raw and dry. Vacate the venue: The timing for the event was 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM. But as it happens with everyone and with every event in the family, the function got little extended. Mr. Shambhu came and told to vacate the venue in front of our guests which was disgraceful and embarrassing for us. DJ: We booked mini dj for the event. But there was some random guy playing some random music. The dance floor was missing. The songs which they were playing had explicit language. Late comers: Few of our guests came late around 3:45 PM, And as we guided them to the buffet hall for lunch, Mr. Shambhu told his staff to wrap up things and not to entertain them ( that to infront of our guests). The Behavior: At the time of booking the venue Mr. Shambhu's behavior was polite but the way he behaved after the event was over was unacceptable. He was restless, impatient and rude. He ill behaved with my in laws for the payment. He wanted immediate payment settlement even before our guests left.
Giving two stars just for the food. I would recommend those who want to get humiliated infront of their near and dear ones, do book Pind...
Read morePind Balluchi Vatika in Sector 29 is a delightful restaurant that offers a great dining experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Whether you’re visiting for a casual meal or a special occasion, the setting is perfect for both.
We had the pleasure of trying a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded expectations. The Kurkure Mushroom was a crunchy, flavorful starter, while the Vegetarian Kebab was perfectly grilled, with a great blend of spices. The Messi Roti stood out for its unique preparation, complementing the dishes wonderfully. The Mushroom Masala was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, making it a standout dish of the meal.
The food was not only delicious but also served promptly, and the portion sizes were generous. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and cooperative throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations.
Overall, Pind Balluchi Vatika provides a satisfying and memorable dining experience with its combination of flavorful food, great ambiance, and attentive service. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it’s a place that promises to deliver a delicious meal in a comfortable setting. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy authentic North Indian cuisine...
Read moreThis place comes as a strong recommendation for punjabi food. It didnt let us down. We went fairly early and they were still able to whip up starters in a timely manner. The staff was efficient and understanding as the night went along. The dahi kebab & Amritsari soy chaap were my instant favorites. I tried their drinks, and though they were refreshing, I really didn't want to fill up before I got to main course. We ordered Dal balluchi, mix veg and malai kofta as our main curries. A basket of rotis to go along with everything. Dal was really creamy and had a unique flavor than other curries. That was a pleasant surprise. I really didn't want to order a generic paneer dish as it would've been basic. Overall its a great family restaurant but if you are planning weekend dinners (which you should), plan to reach by 8. You will get ample parking space but after you are done, there will be blaring music from the whole area around you and sadly there is no way to...
