The place is extremely good. The Indian Mughlai food is top class. From taste to quality, they are providing it all at a very good pricing. The ambience is good, with seating on the outside and inside as well. The design and construction and theme of the place must have taken a lot of effort because it’s really very unique. Now talking about the hospitality - it’s seriously one of the best I’ve experienced till date and I’m not exaggerating… the attendants are there to serve well and even go out of the way most of the times. They give you extra food and even make stuff for you that’s not on the menu and then cherry on hospitality’s cake is the the owners keep taking your feedback and ask you if everything is keeping you happy, they really really take a great effort with their work.
The staff and even the owners are ready to take photos of you, they are ready to exchange seats for you, even when the place is very crowded… they go out of their way to keep you happy.
The place is a must visit and a repeat visit special with your family if you want to be serviced with alot of respect.
Now talking about the food. Our group ordered lot of good snacks like paneer Achari tikka, dal makhni, mutton, chicken. Everything tasted very authentic, very high quality. Not even one dish had any flaw.
The breads they served: tandoori naan, Lachcha Parantha and Malabar Parantha were balanced in terms of baking and everything tasted high quality.
I’m repeating word high quality in almost every aspect as you can see.
So the place is a must visit to Enjoy eating inside or out. It’s a good experience for the family. And one more thing: the inside area has well thought interiors… very artistic.
Forgot to mention: They take very good care of the kids, they give them toys, they give them complimentary deserts. The kids are happy too. It’s a complete family...

It's a fine dining restaurant dedicated to exploring historical dishes of India. It combines my two great loves - history and food.
The lovely server comes and explains the significance of the dishes, their origins, their histories. He even shows you the original book from where they got this recipe.
Oh, and what richness of taste. We all know how scrumptious the food was in those Mughal kitchens. We all know how western UP has some of that still. That richness, which I often complain to my Mumbai friends is missing from Mumbai food. Delhi is the original food capital in my opinion. But in Delhi too, you don't find that everywhere.
I have a very distinguishing palette and I don't like any dish easily. I have tried so much variety of food with the aim to discern that I am able to do that now. To get that richness of taste, you have to choose good ingredients, prepare food in the right way, serve it with the right accompaniments. Even the right utensils and right way of serving plays a role.
I can do a dissertation on food. But this is a review about this restaurant. So overall, I was quite happy with the taste, which I usually am not easily. I had malai kofta, tikki, kesar paratha and naan. It was served with many types of sauces and accompaniments. The quantity is very good.
The ambience at 32nd Avenue in general is lovely, as anyone who would have visited would know. This restuarant is a little understated in comparison to others. They also did not have a lot of crowd at the time. I guess a fine dining restaurant did not have a lot of takers in the early evening bar crowd. They are still very beautiful in their own right. They even have a section of books devoted to Delhi, history or food.
It's also pricey of course, but I would say worth it.
I love the place and will definitely visit soon when the...
Read moreI visited the restaurant on 2 occasions recently. First date is 9 Sept 2022. I was with my family. Everything was going well until we ordered the main course, some sort of Mutton Biryani. It took more than 45 minutes for the dish to be served. As soon as we started eating, we realized the mutton was undercooked. Not sure who the person was but he seems to be the owner's son, he was observing from a distance; he approached us and apologized for the issue. He offered us another signature dish, Chicken Gravy or something with paranthas; it was good.
The second visit happened on 14 Sept 2022, this time with office colleagues. We were offered to take an All-inclusive unlimited package with food and drinks. We took that willingly however, the same service delay issues repeated again. This time, the owner lady came up to our table and asked if everything was going well or not. We showed her our empty plates which pretty much sums up my second experience as well. She asks the server to remove the food from the bill and expedite the service. We refused to take that offer, but her exact words were "It is my restaurant, and I can do whatever I want,". However, the service delay did not improve even after her intervention. Finally, the bill arrived, and there was no deduction at all. On reminding him about the offer we received from the owner, the server got rude and did not wish us while leaving the restaurant.
I believe the restaurant is being run by a well-off family as they were all there on my first visit, talking to customers at each table. Their intent can be seen from the way they were interacting with customers. but my two back-to-back experiences were ruined because of delays and quality of the food. I am not recommending anything here; just sharing...
