I'm a serving defence forces officer. Im serving in aa high altitude region. I wanted to bring to notice of the owners and people of the establishment and the unexpected experience I had to face on the night of 27th April, 2025. I had just come on leave earlier in the day and me and my friends decided to head out for the night as I had come on leave after a long long time. I was not indecently dressed. I was dressed in a pair of cargo shirts, shoes and T-Shirt. I was entertained by the staff of the establishment wherein first I was rejected entry stating that I was indecently dressed. On questioning why was I being denied entry, I could only wonder was I indecently dressed ?I was not. Since when did wearing a pair of casual shorts and and t-shirt be a basis for denial of entry ? Had a foreigner been standing there instead of my place, he would have been welcomed with open arms. Unfortunately that is the state of people now days. My torment didn't end there. Despite telling them that I'm a serving officer from the armed forces, they continued to deny entry. At a point they did agree somehow but then we were 6 including two ladies ( one of them being my wife) , they then asked us to pay a sum of Rs 3000/- each just to gain entry to the club. After I asked my friends, who were astonished at the way the club behaved, to leave, the staff then sort of apologised and at a point forced me to go in the club. Me and my friends entered from the entry which is inside the mall and crossed across the establishment to exit from the other side which is facing the MG Road. We didn't stop inside for a second cause my civil friends felt bad because of the the way the staff treated me and my wife. I just want to being to notice that an establishment which does not have the basic decency to offer the basic of respect to people like me who leave their family and friends to make sure that the owners of such businesses are able to dish out such treatment to us because of the safe and secure environment they are operating in , it's pathetic and shameful. I'm sure my post might be deleted, but I want to bring it to light the kind of treatment soldiers get by those who think they are above everyone. It's pathetic, and disgraceful. And I shall spread this message as far as I can so that at least people from my organisation come to know that our efforts and sacrifices mean...

The drinks here may be good, but the experience was deeply disappointing due to shocking hygiene practices and poor staff accountability.

While refilling my companion’s vodka, the server added three ice cubes instead of two. When she corrected him, he removed the extra cube and casually dropped it back into the shared ice box—ice that was then used for other tables. This is not just careless; it’s unacceptable for any establishment, let alone one charging premium prices.

When I raised this with the staff and asked for the manager, they repeatedly denied that a manager was available. Only after pressing several times did a man named Rajendra appear, claiming to be the manager. Rather than acknowledge the issue, he brushed it off with vague statements like “they might have thrown away the ice,” offering no clear solution or responsibility.

To top it off, the bill carried GST and VAT—as expected—but also an added service charge on both food and liquor. Initially, they refused to remove it and only did so after repeated insistence.

Good drinks cannot compensate for poor hygiene, evasive behavior, and a management team unwilling to take customer concerns seriously. This is not the standard you expect—or should accept—from a venue of...
