Each Photo framed walls speaks of a unique theme, be it Tintin, Asterix, The common man by Rk Laxman, Malgudi days, black & white school pics. Even the Retro entrance and memes around the washroom area have been placed with a distinct appeal.
The Clock Tower has undoubtedly emerged as the Top Brewery, Pub and Kitchen Restro for Food Enthusiasts and Beer Geeks. Each floor has three expansive bars to keep the flow running in every floor. We tried their 5 types Craft beer is healthily brewed from the brewery and each is best in it's own flavors. IPA, Chocolate Stout, Wheat, Duncell Block and regular.
Amongst the cocktails, we tried the Lemon Grass Sniffer with Galangal induced in cranberry juice and vodka with a refreshing lemongrass touch. The Pink beauty Lychee Martini Tantalize the taste buds with distinctive sweetness of lychee and punch of Martini. The colorful White wine sangria was laded with colored fruits, orange bitter and juices was a perfect accompaniment throughout the course. Even their Mocktail Fruit punch, a blend of juice with ice cream was sublime and refreshing.
The Grub is the Wow factor here. Every dish is distinctive with unparalleled cooking and curated beautifully. We were served, a quite popular starter here, named Mr Reddy Chicken 65. This South Indian delicacy had a great spicy zest of spices from the south combined with curry leaves.
The Sheeshtouk with hummus and Pita was succulent Mediterranean marinated grilled chicken skewers. The Veg mezze platter served with crispy Falafel, pitas, hummus, Tahini, Baba Ganoush and pickle was a wholesome platter.
The hummus was one the best I have had in the recent past. My personal favorites were their Crispy fried cracker Giant shrimps and Amritsari macchi with onion rings puffed in Amritsari Red batter. Both were amazingly crisp and mouth melting delicious. Lastly, their Clay oven chicken & forest mushrooms Risotto was A piece of art laiden risotto served with perfection.
In deserts, their Banoffee pie in Mason Jar was a love at first sight. Beautiful Layers of secret crumble recipe, bananas that was sweet and sinful. My second favorite of the day was their Red velvet slice Served with Paan and Berry chocolate macaroons.

Read moreThe Clock Tower is a one of a kind "explicit" pub in Gurgaon. It is largely inspired by the colonial style of architecture from the British era. The stone clad exterior walls, wooden staircases, chess floors and wooden tree trunk tables on the terrace point out to the fact that much consideration has been taken to built the place with close scrutiny. The interior walls have been ornamented with memories of the life of growing kids from a resident school and suitable archives has been placed accordingly at various zones. So we have framed photo walls dedicated to - Tintin, Asterix, The common man by Rk Laxman, Malgudi days, black & white school pics and various memes around the toilet area at each of the floor respectively. Undoubtedly, my colleague and me were very much in awe of the place.
Within the three floors, there are three expansive bars & a brewery that are awesomely filled with bottles of who's who liquor especially single malts from different corners of the world. They have been aptly displayed amongst the bar as well as on the top of the wall enclosures to keep the flow running in every floor. 5 types Craft beer is healthily brewed from the brewery and each is best in it's own flavors. The diner serves some exquisitely good tranquil cocktails too. I tasted the Belgian German & dark brews that were pure beers and each could easily be fit in classic beer styles. The Belgian was the best one with a light bodied appearance with slight hoppy bitterness and a bit more on the alcohol content. Amongst the cocktails, we tried the Lemon Grass Sniffer that is surely uncommon one with a nice flavor of ginger induced in grape juice and vodka with a refreshing aroma of lemongrass. There is a fragrant freshness about it. Then there was the Orange Scotch which is a highly recommended drink incase your are scotch lover and has a robust orange flavor.
The Grub is surely the winner at this Pub with some awesome preparations amongst all the features that make a restaurant great! We started our meal with The Double Fried Pork, an ultimate starter paired with the veggies like bell peppers and scallions. The sauce was true in it's essence and the pork was undoubtedly too soft and melted in the mouth. Mr Reddy Chicken 65 had the chicken tasting like soft small balls with great spicy zest of South india masalas combined with curry leaves. The Sheeshtouk with hummus was perfectly grilled chicken marinated with Mediterranean ingredients. While being soft on the inside the outside was totally caramelized. The hummus was one the best I have had in the recent past. The Dahi ke Kebab stood too it's name as well being golden brown on the external coating and too mushy on the inside with a hint of the curd mixed with apricots and raisins. Every dish was awesomeness to the core and distinctive with unparalleled cooking. We went for the Mutton Rara with Garlic Naan for main course. This was an adept choice to end our vivid food expedition for the day. We relished the taste of the unbelievable minced meat gravy really. For desserts, we were served fresh brownies with Chocolate Sauce and vanilla ice cream.
The service is first class and all the boys displayed much enthusiasm within the setting. All accolades to the management for this kind of highly enchanted experience and look forward to some cheerful times in...
Read moreThe Clock Tower is a microbrewery which I visited yesterday, surprised me with its emergence as the one to watch out for.Its a castle looking microbrewery and bar built to resemble a Clock Tower, both inside and out and stands out.Spread over two floors with a lovely terrace, balcony and various chambers,it has walls dedicated to various themes. Other interesting interior elements include a huge clock with a man like a charlie chaplin using his legs like the hands of clock. They use Belgian recipes for all the beers, each of the 5tastes distinct and wonderful.
Coming to food,we had chicken 65(amazing Andhra flavours and a hint of chilly that stays in mouth for even longer),crispy fried cracker shrimps(a perfect crispy crunchy companion for longer haul with favourite drink),amritsari machchi(awesome is the word when it comes to flavours and texture of fish),shishtouk chicken with hummus(tender chunks of chicken which tasted very mild along with fresh and well made hummus),clay oven chicken and forest mushroom risotto(better than some speciality Italian restaurants, the risotto was dish),mezze platter(fresh hot and crisp falafel with signature Lebanese dips and pickles tasted heavenly)bannofie pie(still imagining the flavours of fresh crumble and banana sauce)red velvet cake(better than a speciality baker with finger licking butter cream frosting and mouth melting cake).
Drinks which undoubtedly are the u.s.p of this place included lemon grass snifer, litchi martini, fruit punch and white wine sangria.
One of the places which gives you flawless experience along with the hospitality by staff along with the virtual tour of pictures that depicted the journey of Sherwood school and walls such as common man's wall(cartoonist R.K lakshman)was a treat to eyes and euphoric.
The dishes were conceptualized by Chef Sidharth Vasudev who himself detailed us and paid attention to every bit.
On duty manager Mr.Prakash Bisht made sure that they leave no stone unturned while making this experience unforgetful...
