Sibang Bakery — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I really like the café — the concept, the menu, the bakery items, and the coffee are all great. But the staff completely ruin the experience. They’re rude, careless, and take zero ownership.

I placed a dining order, but since all tables were taken (and they already have very limited seating), I was asked to wait. I waited for 15–20 minutes, and meanwhile, they prepared my entire order — coffee, sandwiches, and cakes — and then just handed it to me while I was still standing. Seriously? How do you expect someone to eat and drink while standing?

To make things worse, I noticed several people sitting there for good half n hour while I was there with just one coffee, working on their laptops, while 5–6 other customers like me were waiting for a table. I politely suggested that maybe the staff could ask those customers to wrap up when there’s such a crowd. The girl at the counter was unbelievably rude — she just said, “What are you saying?” and then snapped, “No, we can’t say that to customers.”

If you can’t manage your seating or customer flow, at least don’t hand over dine-in orders when people clearly don’t have a table. And if your café is that busy, have the decency to manage table turnover better instead of letting people camp for hours. Also if you have waiting for the table then you can go ahead and politely ask customers on the table to wrap up little fast as there are other customers waiting for their turn. This place has been a gem of a find and has become one of our favourite coffee and bakery places in Gurgaon.

Location and Parking: There are two outlets in Gurgaon (as of Jan'22). We visited the one in South Point Mall on Golf Course Road. You will either get to park on the roadside itself or you can park in the basement as well.

Cakes and coffee: Their Cheesecake, Dry Cakes are undoubtedly one of the finest. The quality and taste is top class, and I don't see why anyone would not want to eat their bakery again and again. The coffee was also incredibly rich in aroma and flavor, prompting our first reaction to be, "This is much better than Starbucks"

My order on 12th August 2025 from their new outlet at AIPL mall was a disaster. I ordered marble cake slices, castelas and a banana bread cake. All, yes all of them had egg shells in them. I can't tell you how pathetic the experience was. I had placed a big order to get them to Pune as I was visiting family. Imagine the horror when you tell them these are from your favorite bakery back at home and you serve them and literally everyone gets to spit it out in first or second bite.
