A Hidden Gem(for me since I’m not from Delhi 😅) in Gurgaon – Romeo Lane ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently visited Romeo Lane in Gurgaon while spending time with my sister-in-law and co-brother, and I have to say, it was nothing short of an experience! From the moment we stepped inside, I was transported to a different world. The ambiance was intimate yet lively, with chic decor, dim lighting, and a vibe that felt both relaxing and sophisticated. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a quiet dinner or share laughter with friends—the perfect setting for any occasion.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish we tried was a delightful journey for the senses. Crispy Thai Basil Mushroom Bao – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The bao was crispy on the outside with a tender, flavorful filling of mushrooms and fresh basil. While delicious, I felt it could have had a little more crunch to elevate the texture. Still, it was a great start to the meal. Sage and Pumpkin Tortellini – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was the highlight of our dinner. The rich parmesan cream sauce paired with the roasted pumpkin was absolutely divine. The tortellini was cooked to perfection, and the dish had a depth of flavor that lingered long after the last bite. Without a doubt, the best dish of the day—I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting! Burrata Pesto Pide Pizza – ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ The combination of fresh arugula, sundried tomatoes, pine nuts, and pesto was spot on. The pizza base was soft yet slightly crispy at the edges, but the burrata lacked that signature “ooze” that I was hoping for. Still, the flavors were incredible, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Mohana – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This dessert was an absolute showstopper—not just in taste but in presentation! Served with an edible candle, almond thread, and a fruit custard, it was both beautiful and delicious. The creativity that went into this dish is something I truly appreciated. The flavors were rich and decadent, though it could have been a bit sweeter for my taste.

Final Thoughts:

Romeo Lane is not just about the food—it’s about the experience. The attention to detail in every dish, the ambiance, and the overall vibe makes this place stand out in Gurgaon. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique dining experience, whether you’re here for a casual dinner or a special night out. The service was also top-notch, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more dishes and soak in the incredible atmosphere.

Highly recommend! 🌟

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Romeo Lane, Grand Hyatt Gurgaon

Rating: ⭐️

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to dine at Romeo Lane, the restaurant located within the Grand Hyatt Gurgaon on Golf Course Road. I must say, I was thoroughly disappointed with both the quality of their service and the food. Moreover, their strict dress code policy left a bitter taste in my mouth, as they objected to customers wearing casual attire, including shots, for dinner with their own mothers. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment and here's why.

First and foremost, the service at Romeo Lane was nothing short of abysmal. Despite being a supposedly five-star hotel, the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. It took an eternity to get their attention and place our order, and even then, they seemed unbothered by our presence. The lack of professionalism displayed by the staff is simply unacceptable for such a reputed establishment.

Moving on to the food, the quality was far from impressive. The dishes we ordered were bland and lacked any creativity or finesse. It was evident that the ingredients used were of subpar quality, leading to a disappointing dining experience. For a restaurant that claims to offer a luxurious dining experience, Romeo Lane fell far below expectations.

What added insult to injury was their policy regarding dress code. It is mind-boggling that a place would dare to object to customers wearing casual clothing, including shots, for a dinner with their own mothers. This policy is not only discriminatory but also absurd. As paying customers, we should have the freedom to dress comfortably and according to our preferences, without being subjected to unnecessary judgment and restrictions.

Given the disappointing service, uninspiring food, and the unjust dress code policy, I strongly advise against anyone visiting Romeo Lane at the Grand Hyatt Gurgaon. There are countless other dining options available in the area that offer superior service, delectable cuisine, and a more inclusive and welcoming environment.

Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by exploring other establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a truly enjoyable dining experience. Romeo Lane at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon is certainly not...

My recent visit to Romeo Lane was nothing short of a nightmare. I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from enduring the same ordeal. The lack of concern for customers' safety and blatant disregard for cleanliness has left me deeply disappointed.

Firstly, I would like to address the issue of insects. During my visit, a friend of mine was bitten by an insect and suffered a severe infection as a result. Despite bringing this matter to the attention of the management, they simply dismissed it with a feeble excuse that it is impossible to control flies due to keeping the outside door open. This is a completely unacceptable response, especially considering the potential danger posed to my friend's newborn baby. The management's lack of action and concern in such a serious situation was utterly disappointing.

Furthermore, the state of the bathrooms at Romeo Lane was appalling. The dim lighting made it impossible to determine if the facilities were adequately cleaned. Every bathroom I visited was dirty and clearly not flushed properly. This is a basic requirement for any establishment, and the fact that Romeo Lane failed to meet even this minimal standard is disgraceful.

In light of these experiences, I cannot recommend Romeo Lane to anyone seeking a safe and hygienic environment. The management's negligence towards customers' well-being, coupled with unsanitary bathrooms, made this a truly terrible experience. I hope that they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure the safety and satisfaction of their patrons.

Please be cautious of the potential insect bites and lack of appropriate action from the management when considering a visit to Romeo Lane. Your health and safety should always be a top priority when choosing a place to dine or...
