Shawarma House — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Highly unfortunate that a 1st time order from a 4.5 star rated Gold Partner restaurant Shawarma House is not being delivered even after 1 hr of placing the order.

Restaurant doesn't use Zomato delivery, their own delivery guy doesnt have GPS or Whatsapp for location tracking. Restaurant guy calls up 1 hr late explaining mixup, delays and route to reach address.

The Zomato app doesn't offer me any medium to talk to a executive at Zomato. No way to cancel the order either since not delivered by Zomato.

The order is yet not here even after 1.5hrs of placing it, and being a non veg item, i cannot vouch for its quality.

This is a serious case of cheating the customer who is left helpless and hungry at the hands of inefficient delivery guy, inconsiderate Zomato platform and unreachable delivery restaurant.

An order placed at 9.40pm is not delivered till 11.40in night. What do u guys expect me to eat?

Pathetic service from Zomato and ofcourse the restaurant which doesn't deserve a 4.5 star or featured listing. Looks like other 5 star ratings are fake.

Restaurant manager Nitin apologizes on call and seeks time to personally deliver a fresh order and hands over the delivery to another delivery person. Basic courtesy of order fulfillment post escalation also goes for toss. Should i even check the quality now, when it is 2 hrs since order placement?

Owing to Chicken Shawarma being a staple diet throughout my 4 years of college, so of course I had to order from Shawarma House when I found out my workplace was included in their delivery radius. With so much to choose from, the staff personnel taking my order was helpful in suggesting and helping me finalize my order. The delivery time was prompt as well.

House Special Non Veg Platter – Fries, Falafel, fattoush salad, Chicken, Lamb and Dips. This is what this heaven on a plate DIY dish consisted of. By DIY I mean I could prepare a new item everytime with varying quantities and food items. Moreover, the quantity for a single person is plentiful and I had to keep my other food item away before I could get to eat it.

Chicken Shawarma – The succulent Chicken complemented with Garlic Sauce and soft bread was truly a blessing and again was more than enough for a single person in terms of quantity.

Classic Mojito – An excellent companion to guzzle down all that food and prepared well, this recommendation from the staff certainly went well the food items.

This place serves amazing food specially if you are a shawarma lover and like the way that chicken is made. I ordered from this place and got my order on time . I had Starters

1. Chicken Fattoush Salad - Chicken cooked poured with vegetables and a juicy sauce which covered the dry chicken very much

2. Platter - Chicken Shawarma - Chicken served with 8-10 pieces of tortilla cut in triangle shape along with mayonnaise red sauce , fresh vegetables and fries . It was like creating your own pizza out of those things keeping with tortilla base having mayonnaise and cheesy dip .

3. Wrap - Egg and chicken - Again the chicken wrapped with vegetables and sauces

4. Peri Peri Fries - Those just taste like normal fries

All the dishes had the same type of chicken filling which I don't like because then there's no point ordering different type of dishes , though the filling was good but same type of cooked chicken doesn't make you feel another dish. Also this place is bit costly . The quantity of food is good though according to price . So , overall a great experience from my side . You can try...
