I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant on Golf Course Road. To begin with, we ordered a variety of dishes, including the hung curd kebab, falafel pita pockets, afghani chicken tikka, and classic fish & chips. The food quality was far from satisfactory. The hung curd kebab was dry and lacked flavor. The falafel pita pockets were equally disappointing, with stale pita bread and falafel that tasted like cardboard. The afghani chicken tikka was overcooked and tough, and the classic fish & chips were greasy and underwhelming.
Aside from the food, several other aspects of this restaurant were major letdowns. First and foremost, the lack of an in-house restroom was a significant inconvenience. We were forced to use the building's restroom, which was not only untidy but also had a foul smell. It's shocking that a restaurant of this caliber can't provide basic restroom facilities for its patrons.
The ambience of the restaurant was also underwhelming. It felt like stepping into a cheap bar in Sector 29, rather than an establishment on Golf Course Road. The decor was uninspiring, and the seating was uncomfortable, contributing to an overall unpleasant dining atmosphere.
The service was another area that needs substantial improvement. Our orders took an excruciatingly long time to arrive, and when they did, it was clear that they had been rushed and lacked the finesse one would expect from a restaurant in this location. The waitstaff appeared disinterested and inattentive, adding to our frustration.
The drinks were no exception to the disappointment. They were overpriced, and the quality didn't match the cost. It felt like a blatant attempt to make extra profit, leaving a bitter taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively.
The staff's behavior was unprofessional. They were slow to respond to our requests and seemed indifferent to our concerns. We even witnessed an argument between staff members, which is entirely unacceptable in any dining establishment.
The music was another nuisance. It was blaringly loud, making conversation nearly impossible. The selection of songs was not suitable for a dining setting, and it created an uncomfortable environment.
Lastly, the owner's behavior was dismissive. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the entire dining experience, they showed no interest in addressing our concerns or improving the situation.
In summary, my visit to this restaurant was a comprehensive disappointment. The food quality, lack of hygiene, uncomfortable ambience, unprofessional staff, overpriced drinks, disruptive music, and owner's indifference all combined to create a truly terrible dining experience. I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment on Golf...
Read moreMost of the items we ordered were delightful, the pizza and Afghani chicken kebab left much to be desired.
Starting with the positives, the ambiance of the restaurant was charming, and the service was attentive throughout the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers and mains, especially the dahi ke kebab and the dal makhani.
However, when it came to the pizza, we were a bit disappointed. While the crust was crispy and flavorful, the toppings were overwhelmingly dominated by vegetables, leaving little room for the cheese. It felt like a garden on a pizza rather than a balanced combination of flavors.
Similarly, the Afghani chicken kebab had its flaws. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, but the promised creamy texture was missing. It lacked the richness and depth of flavor we expected...
Read moreNice place to have some beer and food with friends. We went there after seeing a good offer on the district app. We had beers, chilly chicken, noodles and tried their chaat too(was in mood to try something different at a beer place). The food tasted good, ambience was nice, we went there at around 7:30pm, it was quiet initially but then the crowd started coming in - then felt like a bar and a party place. All in all good place to hang with friends or go on a date. For the above-mentioned food I recall after the discount it costs us around 1000-1200 each as we had very less alcohol. With alcohol the prices will...
