Thai Pavilion — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Visited Thai pavilion on Friday -18th March, 2022 with my parents and in laws and what struck me immediately as soon as I entered the restaurant was the absence of requisite staff.

While there were tables empty, we had to find the manager to allocate us one. They placed an extra seat since we were 7 people on table of 6 but it took repeated reminders for them to place a plate and cutlery for the 7th person and my dad had to call them out before any dinnerware was placed.

The same happened for napkins on the table. While the food from the soup to the hand pulled noodles including the Masamaan curry were amazing - the service was excruciatingly slow taking us over 2 hours to get and finish our meal - what was also weird was the level of ignorance or maybe judgement - I ordered a martini and the gentleman serving our table told me it has alcohol!!! We went to Thai Pavilion on recommendation of friends for a weekday dinner.

We were impressed by the English Library Look and hug tables decorated with candles and flowers. We started with ordering Green Curry that came along with Jasmine Rice and Prawn crackers that they served as restaurant compliments. Green curry was bit spicy but the flavors were busting out.

We then moved to order Shredded Lamb in Thai herbs which was the dish of the evening for me. Really soft lamb and wonderful mix of Thai herbs.

Last we ordered homemade rice noodles with Thai herbs and spices. I enjoyed the pad Thai noodles 👌

Overall it was a nice experience and along with zomato gold, it was good...

Absolutely love this place! Have been a regular here and the food quality is superb!

Every time I stay at Taj city center this is the place I have my dinners. The staff and the overall ambience is wonderful.

Food: The food is lovely and the quality is superb. The food though I believe has some inconsistencies as I tend to order the same thing multiple times and flavour seems to change. But the quality and flavour is really nice

Staff: the hosts there are lovely and are super sweet. One of the few places where menu items suggested by the hosts is wonderful!
