My family recently dined at The Ivy in Gurugram’s Sector 50, and it was a delightful experience that left us eager to return. The ambiance immediately caught our attention clean, elegant, and infused with a mediterranean-ethnic charm that felt both sophisticated and welcoming. The warm, courteous staff greeted us with genuine hospitality, setting the tone for a memorable evening. We started with the Wild Mushroom Cream Soup and the Sea Food Soup, both of which were nothing short of spectacular. Mushroom stuffed grill was cool. The mushroom soup was rich and velvety, while the seafood soup burst with fresh, oceanic flavors true comfort in every spoonful. For our main course, we ordered the prawn and fish sizzler and the vegetable rice sizzler. Both dishes were a great of flavors, with a perfect blend of spices that lived up to the Hindi term zaika, a true explosion of taste. The sizzlers were served sizzling hot, with the spices perfectly balanced to make every bite mouthwatering. For dessert, the gingerbread was a standout moist, aromatic, and just the right amount of sweet. What elevated the experience further was the thoughtful touch with the bill, which arrived alongside a beautifully presented sweet cake, adding an elegant flourish to the meal. Price-wise, The Ivy offers excellent value for the quality and taste of the food. Every dish felt crafted with care, justifying the cost while leaving us craving more. The IVY Restaurant in Baani Square area, is the flagship brand amongst multiple related restaurants in its chain. It is a culinary delight and offers exquisite fine dine dishes as well as experience. No alcohol is served here, and the setup always amazes me (I & my family, are happily returning customers since years) with the mystery of how do they manage squeezing in such perfection in execution and experience, amidst such a tiny but cutely & neatly tucked in space. There is no doubt in the quality of food and taste as every bite and sip would leave you longing for more, irrespective of the dish/drink ordered. Cherry on top is their staff being very courteous and supportive. We love their Phyllo Cups and BBQ'D Exotic Vegetables Shashlik in starters, Entire Salads & Pasta/Lasagne range, Entire Dessert Range and the super spread out non alcoholic Beverages range.
