Devin A. Belden, American chiropractic physician, visiting here for dental work, 2x three-week visits, 3 months apart. The Escape is my go-to place in Panchkula. When first got to Panchkula, I went to a different restaurant every night searching for what i needed. The Escape made me feel comfortable and cared-for. The manager, Gopal, helped me find special foods I could eat through my lengthy dental procedures and made sure all my needs were addressed. The wonderful staff, especially Bhupesh ( Bubby), and Joshi, brought me out a special chair every night to accommodate my 6 herniated lumbar discs (18 yrs Rugby), and learned my food preferences, and made themselves available all the time, helping me with my language skills and logistical quanderies. The barmen, esp. Suri, learned my drink preferences: northern european-style lagers and Old Monk Rum, and let me know when a new lager was coming out of their Microbrewery. They anticipated my needs in every way. Helped me obtain rides in my early days when I was struggling with he local phone system and Uber. The staff was over-the-top courteous and helpful. When I came in with packages, they helped me carry, opened doors, safe guarded my possessions so I felt safe leaving my phone on the bar when I went to the washroom. They really took care of me for almost 2 months. Everyone was warm and friendly and we exchanged stories, discussions of politics and religion, and jokes from our respective cultures. Because of the warmth and care I found here, in addition to eating dinner here 4 days out of every seven, and stopping in for an occasional beer, I hosted my dentist's husband's birthday party here, on the 2nd floor, which is quite elegant but not stuffy, with several doctors and other professionals in attendance. Gopal helped me set it up, and the service and food were excellent. A wonderful time was had by all. They have a live Indian band on the roof most nights, and play American and Jamaican and World Music in the bar. I would recommend The Escape for all your eating and drinking and dancing when you are...
Read moreI recently visited with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this restaurant was not going to live up to its reputation.
The ambiance was the first red flag. The decor felt outdated and uninviting, and the cleanliness of the dining area was questionable. However, we decided to give it a chance and ordered a variety of dishes from the menu.
The food, sadly, was the biggest letdown. The appetizers arrived lukewarm and lacked flavor. The main courses were no better—overcooked, bland, and clearly made with low-quality ingredients. It felt like no effort was put into the preparation or presentation of the meals. The portions were small, and for the price, it was simply not worth it.
Even the service was disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. We had to wait an unreasonably long time for our food, and when we voiced our concerns, they were met with indifference.
Overall, was a major disappointment. The food was subpar, the service lackluster, and the atmosphere unappealing. There are much better dining options in the area that offer better quality and value. I would not recommend to anyone looking for a...

The menu curated serves some scrumptious gourmet food and dainty beverages. Not just food, the service is great too. You can’t miss their freshly brewed beer which is so good to vibe on a breezy day, chilling on the rooftop with live music. The mixologist is well versed in the art of cocktails and mocktails. Special attention is paid to bring out maximum flavours and polished presentation. This fruity pineapple-cardamom flavoured cocktail was so light while the addition of flower-fruit infused ice really accentuated the flavor of another cocktail that we had. Amongst their menu we tried the Gucci tartlets which were creamy mushroom-corn filling in tart shells; garnished with caramelised onions. Another quirky dish was these Prawn wontons boiled in broth and served on a bed of chilli paste and chilli oil drizzled over. Delicious!! Cost for 2- Rupees...
