I genuinely fail to understand how a place like The Food Street at Town Hall, Shimla, which hosts big names like Costa, KFC, and Pizza Hut, is operating without a single washroom facility on the entire premises. For a spot that claims to be a “food street,” the complete absence of basic hygiene infrastructure is unacceptable.

When asked, the staff casually directs you to use the public washrooms outside. How is it even possible that multiple food chains can run here without complying with basic standards?

It’s baffling how they managed to get an FSSAI license in the first place when such a fundamental requirement is missing. Cleanliness and customer comfort should be non-negotiable, but clearly, The Food Street has overlooked both.

Until this is addressed, I wouldn’t recommend dining here – no matter how many big brands...
