Disappointing Experience – Overpriced and Low-Quality Food

We visited Jashan Restaurant expecting a good meal but were left completely disappointed.

We ordered Shahi Paneer and Mutton, but both dishes were not worth the price. The Shahi Paneer tasted completely fake—we make paneer at home and have tried many store-bought brands, but this didn’t taste like real paneer at all. The Mutton dish was even worse, as it was mostly fat with barely any actual meat. We couldn’t even finish our food and had to leave more than half of it behind.

To make things worse, the food was highly overpriced for the poor quality. Given the cost, we expected something much better, but this was one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had.

The service was also uncomfortable. While the staff was polite, the server directly asked us to leave a tip, even though we had an unpleasant experience. This put us in an awkward position, considering we had already wasted money on bad food.

Final Verdict: We had to leave and eat somewhere else because the food was simply not edible. Overpriced, bad quality, and an overall disappointing experience—I would not recommend this place. There are much better options for good food...

Location : Near Lapinoz Pizza restaurant and opposite to Poistive Point(smartphone accessories shop)

Entrance to the Restaurant : Narrow area opposite Positive Point

4 . Experience level : Good

Speciality : None

Comfort level : 80 %( Sofas and chairs with proper tables)

Sitting capacity : Minimum 2 Maximum 8

Ventilation : Indoor area is warmer than the terrace area but air level inside the restaurant is excellent.

Quantity of food : Is quite less when compared the pricing on the menu card. But sufficient for two people dining .

10 . Quality of the food : Was good .

Services regarding Any sort of celebrations : Unlike other places mentioned in my previous review the staff do not charge extra money if you have a cake to cut . They rather assist you with the celebration and provide you with plates and knife .

12 . Satisfaction as a customer : About average; like any other restaurant in town...

Just came back from this place after having our Dinner so here is my fresh review.

This place is located very close to the Christ Church and the Lift to mall road so easy to access. The view from the restaurant is also good if you want to sit on the Terrace (it's too cold though but your choice)

Now the main thing is the food...that is the most disappointing part...we had ordered Veg and Chicken Sweet Corn soup which was barely warm and there more bones than chicken.

We had also ordered Kadai Paneer and Butter Naan which were quickly delivered but the catch was it was too cold so may be they just heated the Paneer and Naan and served it. I heard a lot of people sitting on the nearby tables were also complaining about cold food being served to them.

All in all, avoid this place and try something new instead like some cafés etc.
