I visited Noho for a celebratory work dinner with about 15 colleagues on a Friday evening. In summary, it was an excellent, albeit pricey, experience. The vegetarian dishes were outstanding, while the non-vegetarian options were just good. You might get a discount if you book a table via Swiggy or Zomato. Even then, it's best to come here for either personal milestones or work-sponsored dinners.
The place was largely empty, with most tables available despite not doing anything wrong. A price cut would make a big difference, especially considering it shares space (and parts of the menu) with another restaurant, Teraso Sky Kitchen, which is one floor above. Both menus are available only on special request.
Getting here is easy, as it's located in a traffic-heavy corridor on the main road. Valet handles parking, but you can park in the basement yourself as well. It's a small space, though, so I wonder how they'll handle peak hour parking.
The ambience is chic, modern, and elegant, thanks to the well-done, posh soft, and warm hues of lighting. The double ceiling height is a marvel to experience. It's certainly a very premium space, suitable for both family and kids as well as colleagues. They allow you to reserve the balcony area if you prefer. We had it exclusively but struggled with mosquitoes all evening long. The balcony is a bit cramped, so it's not friendly for moving around in a group. Taller tables would have solved that challenge.
The wait staff were very professional and helpful. They were attentive and ensured our needs were taken care of. However, the service speed felt slow, especially for hard beverages. Don't come here if you're particular about quick service.
We ordered a variety of dishes, mainly Asian like dim sums, sushi, small plates, etc. We loved nearly all of their recommended favorites. I'll post pictures as I forgot the names of these dishes. Their vegetarian options are excellent, and portion sizes are decent. However, it's very expensive, with each dish costing about 550 INR. The non-vegetarian dishes were not as great, except for the bang bang prawns, which did not come with the sauce on them already. The quality of the tiger prawn was great, though. The chicken kebab (a Teraso item) was excellent too. Their pizza was very nice as well. We liked the vegetarian main course too. Do try it once.
Overall, it's a great menu spread. I recommend trying it once for special occasions if you're okay spending around 2k per person...
Read moreDreadful and appalling experience.
Service: 1/5 We got seated outside in the balcony and menus handed over to us. We waited for good 10 mins for waiting staff to come in and take our orders, but nada. I had to go in and ask the manager if this was a self-service place or what to get some attention. He himself came in to take our orders. Service was pretty standard afterwards.
Ambience: 3/5 Good and enjoyable due to pleasant weather, but continuous honking from traffic and mosquitoes were mood dampeners.
Drinks: 3/5 Mandarin Mocktail was sweet but really liked the hint of caramel popcorn, both taste and fragrance lingered on for a while and was lovely. Dynasty cocktail was average and didn’t really taste any alcohol in it. Presentation was fair.
Food: 1/5 Sushi and veggie tempura was below average. Now, Gochujang Gugsu was a different story. I felt something hard between my teeth while eating it and found a sliver of (some sort of ) crystal. This was the final nail in coffin of our dining experience. I called the manager and handed over the crystal which he happened to drop. But I took a photo (attached) before I handed it over. He apologised but I was in mood to hear the apology. We asked for the bill, paid it, and dashed out.
Overall, I’m not coming back and wouldn’t...
