One of the worst McDonald’s outlets in Hyderabad. I’m a fan of McDonald’s and have visited many outlets in and around Hyderabad. However, this particular outlet in Hitec City offers an indescribably poor experience in terms of staff behavior and maintenance. The kiosk doesn’t work properly, the staff don’t provide guidance, and they don’t respond properly to orders. Even though we opt for table service at the kiosk, they directly ask us to collect the order from the counter.
I recently ordered takeaway and requested cokes in takeaway bottles instead of paper cups, as I couldn’t carry the whole meal on my bike without spilling it. They denied my request and packed them in a half-torn paper bag. When I asked for another paper bag, it was torn too. Before I reached home, the coke had spilled out of the package, the carry bag was completely wet and torn, and the coke from paper cups had spilled out entirely. This is how they are damaging the reputation of one of the top brands in the world. I have seen many negative reviews regarding employee behavior and maintenance as well.
Being in a prime locality, they only care about the number of orders, and the quality is utmost worst. Every time we visit, there are at least a couple of customers complaining. I think they have gotten used to this and have never really improved their quality of food or service.
I don’t know who the in-charge or franchise owner of the Hitec City outlet is, but please ensure you hire trained employees who can be polite to customers; otherwise, they will lose a lot of customers.

The restaurant was fully crowded, and the ambience was cozy and nice.
Ordering experience: Unfortunately, the self-ordering screens weren’t working properly—they kept getting stuck, which was frustrating.
Staff experience: One staff member was quite rude to us. I made the payment through the PhonePe app, and although the amount was deducted from my account, that staff person insisted they didn’t receive it. He told me the amount would be refunded within 7 working days. When I asked for proof or clarity, he ignored me and spoke disrespectfully. My friend got angry and reminded him to give respect and take respect.
Finally, they called the manager, who handled things professionally and sorted it out. They gave us our order and took my phone number in case the refund came through, saying they would follow up.
Overall: A bit of a bad experience due to the payment issue and the rude staff, but I appreciate the manager stepping in to resolve...
