Namchi - Pure Veg Restaurant — Restaurant in Hyderabad

I’ve had this place on my list for months and only earlier today I could visit. Made a reservation today on Swiggy Dineout kyuki “discount” boss 😜… + free beverage (I was so super disappointed with the shot glass teekha aam panna)… & I thought hmm nah maybe it’s fluke, at least food will be super good… but ummeed mat karo bhai. Bas khaana khan aur phut lo idhar se… Dragon Ball roll whatever was super spicy - laal mirchi bhi mirchi hoti hai bhai. Servers failed to understand the concept of explaining zero spicy to chef I guess. Chalo koi na I thought Paneer Lababdar, Malai Kofta, Paneer Kulcha and Butter naan - you can’t go wrong yeh toh basic hai… par na bhai sahab na! Well in my experience this felt like a glorified dhaaba and nothing more - the service, the food, the ambience (altaf raja and tum to thehre pardesi bleh), the servers and staff behaviour (reels chal rahi) most lights were being closed midway while we were eating food, like ok cmon I understand it’s afternoon closing time but that’s no way to treat your guest. I’m not coming back here. 3 stars is me being super generous. Not worth the INR 1643 for this. And the entry from the dungeon like basement so weirdly unwelcoming and the stinky elevator yuck smelt like someone either puked or pissed or both. I guess it’s a common businesses thing so not their fault but...

I went to Namchi yesterday with my family and was not satisfied with overall experience because of below reasons. And I am writing this review as a feedback for the management to take necessary course corrections. I wish them the best.

1. There was a birthday party right next to the regular seating - it was crowded and too noisy for a restaurant. This spoiled the whole ambience.
2. Malai Brocolli - It was the worst I ever had - taste less. And though the manager got it replaced, it was brought back with just some spice added. Absolutely disappointing, but I dint want to make it an issue. Creamy marinade, brocolli blanching and marination process is what makes this a great dish and hope the chef gets it right.
3. Though the Sizzler tasted ok, it definitely did not look like a "Chef Special Sizzler". We being the Sizzler lovers and having tried it in multiple cities across the world, this is no where near a good sizzler. It looked like noodles, gravy, french fries arranged on foil over the iron plate - foil on the sizzler plate is probably used for easier cleaning but it didn't give authentic sizzler experience, atleast some good veggies should have been added.
