Read moreMy much awaited visit to this place turned out to be underwhelming and really sour in the end.
The place itself was inviting. The lady at the reception was warm and welcoming. Outdoor seating is good. Started our order with chocolate cold coffee and a virgin mojito. We had to flag down our waiter a few times which was not big deal. The virgin mojito was not bad, however, the chocolate cold coffee barely tasted like coffee, we felt it was mostly chocolate drink. After a little back and forth, they were able to replace our drink to a classic cold coffee(which cost less but charged for the chocolate cold coffee which was higher). We let all this slide so that we could enjoy our evening.
We ordered a starter, pizza, and fried rice. All of this tasted good! We were pretty satisfied after the initial drinks hiccup.
I paid the bill(including a generous tip)via their website and left. While we were leaving the guy who served us came down running and said we didn't pay for the water.
I was surprised that he said we didn't pay for the water because I had already paid the bill. I pulled the bill back up and it didn't have the charge for the water. The waiter still claimed we didn't pay for the water. I paid the 40 rupees for the water, however, didn't appreciate the allegation that we didn't pay for the water.
I called the manager to share my experience and how it had turned sour but all the manager said was he was sorry. Nothing else. The apology was clearly not genuine. There was nothing done to make this situation for better for the customer.
I feel this is an opportunity for the training team. The waiter and manager served us with a smile but when it came to the billing and the experience in the end, they didn't care. I hope this does not happen to anybody else! I will not be back to...
Read moreI went today to this fine dining place with my baby, who is just about 4 months old. There was a waiting list of 9–10 entries at the reception. I was told there are 30 minutes of waiting. I requested the two ladies at the guest receiving station to consider me a bit early as I'm with a baby. Then, I went inside to talk to a gentleman (who could be the restaurant manager or senior staff). He came out to ask the ladies to consider us. The ladies, instead of saying they would accommodate us in a few minutes, asked us to wait in the waiting area for 30 minutes or more 🤷. The owner should probably teach the staff, and particularly these two ladies, to consider babies and kids first rather than just maintaining fancy buildings and giving fancy dresses and fancy green nail paint to staff who lack the basic mentality to be considerate to mothers with babies and kids. Lol!!I hope this review reaches the owner. They have to learn these things. I rate them poor for their lack of basic etiquette in assigning tables. Parents with Babies and small kids have to be prioritised; it's basic common sense! I left the place in 10 minutes and we had our lunch at a nearby fine dining that considered us seeing the baby. Learn the...
