Get on Board Cafe — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Get on Board Cafe is Asia's and India's first board game cafe. It is located in Jubilee Hills and has over 1500+ board games. The staff there are very supportive and friendly. There is no need to search for games there by yourself. You can also order mojitos, milkshakes and some snacks while playing.

The games will be assigned to you by the staff from basic level to advanced. If you are visiting for the first time, you start with some basic fun games and slowly move to strategic games. There are many choices and a wide variety of games to play.

They generally charge per hour or per day for each person. The cost may be slightly higher during the weekends compared to the weekdays. If you want to spend more than two or three hours, it's better to go with the day pass than an hour pass. It's recommended to have a reservation during weekends as the space is not very huge.

I personally had a fun time with my friends. We spent nearly an hour and a half there. We wished we could spend more time. One thing is that the cafe opens at 1:30 pm and we had to go post lunch. For sure it is an abode which is going to bring the family / friends (whoever goes together) close once again. A mammoth assortment of board games, with assistance from tasteful, enthusiastic youngsters makes it more engaging as you get to play the right game. My son was not ready to leave the place even after 3 hours. I am sure whatever they are appealing about the place as ‘can keep children away from television and phone’ is certainly true… Added to this, they are ready to pamper us with food at cost-effective prices. That shows their earnestness towards the concept as the add-ons are just to facilitate the time spent not to make big bucks. Of course, I would say the place could have been more comfy, the menu could have been with more choices etc., but where is the limit for expectations. My final word would be – let the expectations be as per your imagination – Fact is that you will get whatever you are paying for – An Absolute Value for Money

BTW Forgot mentioning - Management have to take action in terms of making the place visible. We took almost 15 minutes to locate the store even after reaching the building. Literally there were no sign boards and the one you put at the entry of the mall is...

This place is located in the mall, Google maps will take directly to the location. Place has about 2000+ of games at all the difficulty levels. Cost is ₹170 per person/hr on weekends (at the time of writing this review), weekdays it is different cost. Owner and staff are really friendly and they explain the games rules with lot of patience and they keep on bring new games as many times you want. Food (Veg& Non-veg) & Beverages (Hot & Cold) are available on order basis. Rates are reasonable to the quantity that is provided.

Only suggestion to the owner is make sure that rest rooms are available in the same floor ( we have to goto the 1st floor for rest rooms).

Oh btw this store also arranges Kitty Parties, corporate events at their location or in the campus as well.

Food, games and hangout with friends that is best part and I'm sure that you will have good time when you visit here.
