Via Milano — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Food: 2/5 Mixed feeling towards the food, Most of the pasta and pizzas that have Parmesan as an ingredient on them actually have 0 Parmesan in them, whatever they are adding is not even 10% close to actual or even fake Parmesan cheese.

The pizzas are not authentic in any way. Please avoid, if you are coming here for Napoli/Sicilian style pizzas.

The pizza dough wasn’t well fermented, the pizza had nothing “Italian” about it. It tasted like pizza served by any other indie pizza restaurant, also I couldn’t find any sun-dried tomatoes on my pizza. (menu description said that it was a topping).

Multiple items in the menu are supposed to be authentic Italian but almost 50% of the ingredients in the same dishes are replaced with locally sourced cheap alternatives, which makes me question, why not just label your restaurant as Indo-Italian instead of Italian.

Disappointing.

The service was great, the chef asked us how the food was, I explained to him the pizza issue, but he didn’t reply with anything.

Atmosphere: 3.5/5 Average atmosphere, the washrooms were clean. The restaurant was empty and we were the only customers, it was a weekend lunch.

We had a good discount by zomato, it’s a nice place to try only if you have a good discount coupon.

I always enjoyed authentic Italian food in USA. Unfortunately so far I could not find any such place in Hyderabad. I have been cooking the Italian food at home as a result. The best places to eat in USA, Bertucci's on east coast and Maestro's on the west. Because both offer Authentic dishes made from home made ingredients.

At last, I found one such place in Via Milano. What a great food. Everything is home made, we are offered the breads. Over our three course, we (, my wife and I, ) ordered the minestrone soup, followed by the main course of Alfredo made with vegetables and penne and we also had Vegetables, tomato sauce with spaghetti. For desert we tried the chef recommended Panna Cotta with Strawberry Coulis and the signature home made brownie ( with walnuts).

All in all, our experience for a fine dining Italian restaurant has been stupendous.

Please don't miss this place, if you are a fan of Italian food.

Ordered chicken salad from swiggy, that turned out to be a night mare from delivery guy till I eat it… to start with I paid additional delivery partner fee of ₹79 inspite of being a swiggy gold memeber, that also fine as that was my wish.. now delivery guy came near by my appartment and says me to cone down and collect as he is not from swiggy (third party delivery ) i told him if dont want to deliver then he may call the resturant people and find out what to do….after following up with swiggy customer care he came to door step , now he demands cash extra money for the delivery….😔 which again i have to i form Swiggy customer care who is least bothered about it… he says he raised the feedback oh man … after all this messyp i finally opened the salad just to see that salaad means only lettuce no other veggie … its a big shame on u guys u for insulting salad name i did call the number mentioned in the delivery feedback sticker on the food parcel… even he is of NO help just telling that will check sir how it happened and all … overall very bad experience with...
