Update Dec 2024: My wife & I had butter croissants & hot chocolate. The man at the counter gave us a sample of their plum cake, which I thought has some rum infused in it. I must say it was the best plum cake I had in many years. Before leaving we bought a small plum cake which retained its freshness for the next 2 days. We thanked the staff for their products.
Update 18Dec23: I had hot chocolate & croissants today. The lady at the counter was kind enough to re-heat the hot chocolate as I felt it was not hot enough. It was absolutely lovely considering the chill outside. The croissant was so nice and went well with the hot chocolate. I also asked for some other cupcakes to take home which were awesome to say the least. Little request to the owner- you have opened French patisserie- so please keep the original feeling alive while you think of introducing new items in the menu.
Original post 2022:.A French patisserie in Jamshedpur was a surprise. The article on Google was full of praise, so I decided to pay a visit. And WOW!! The place did not disappoint!    Read moreSo we happened to visit the place with really high hopes,wanted to dive into all the freshly baked sweetness, tried a couple of cupcakes, and sadly it wasn't an uber experience. The salted caramel cupcakes's base lacked moistness, it was just like any regular chocolate cake we get in the local bakery, even the frosting wasn't appealing enough taste wise, may be because they were made a cpl of days before and stored in cold temperature, we also tried praline and it had the same texture and base as salted caramel. We were really looking forward to buying some cakes for our family, but just couldn't after the experience. Being from the hospitality industry, I have been lucky enough to get my hands on some of the best tasted cakes and gateaux, this was served cold, and dry. Besides that ambience is nice.    Read moreI am a person who will leave a review only when i feel compelled to do so. The desserts here are compelling! I have tried Macarons, Lemon Meringue Pie, New York Cheesecake, Eclairs, Praline Crunch Pastry, Dark chocolate tart, Dulce Dark Chocolate Mousse. With a single bite you can understand how much effort the chef might have put in. The melt in mouth texture, the creamy filling, that chocolaty base, and that dust of fragrant coffee!! My only suggestion would be that if they can serve Hot chocolate or coffee in their cafe then it would be really cool. Because some of the desserts they make goes really well with hot chocolate or coffee. And please make Tiramisu. I am sure it would be incomparable to any other Tiramisu that we get here...
