KFC — Restaurant in Kalkaji

I’m writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the repeated poor service at Kalkaji outlet — this has now happened twice.

First Incident: I visited the store and placed an order via the KFC mobile app. I informed the staff that my order had been placed, but they seemed completely disorganized. Customers who ordered after me were served first, and I had to ask multiple times before my order was finally prepared and handed to me. It was an irritating experience and showed a lack of basic service protocol.

Second Incident (Most Recent): I placed another order through the KFC app for home delivery. Even after waiting over an hour, my food didn’t arrive. When I contacted the delivery person, he informed me that the store had refused to give him my order, claiming it was already handed over to someone else.

I then attempted to call the outlet, but the line was constantly busy. I asked the delivery person to hand his phone to the KFC staff. When I finally spoke to them, the employee rudely told me that the order had already been given to someone else and claimed it had been canceled from their end — without informing me or issuing a refund.

When I tried to escalate the matter, I asked for the manager. Instead of resolving the issue, he blamed third-party apps like Zomato or Swiggy. But I had placed my order directly through the official KFC app, not any third-party service. When I pointed this out, the response I got was dismissive and unprofessional. The staff didn’t acknowledge their mistake and showed no sense of urgency or responsibility.

To make things worse, the employee was rude and ignored me after telling me the order was already handed over — even though it clearly wasn’t. This level of behavior and carelessness from a reputed brand is unacceptable.

After numerous calls and unnecessary back-and-forth, I finally received my prepaid order 1 hour and 30 minutes later.

I hope KFC takes this feedback seriously. No customer deserves to be treated like this — especially after paying in advance and placing trust in your app...

The staff in this particular store is very disorganised, arrogant, the food takes hours to be served/ handed over , with people who ordered after us getting before us. I visited with my 3 year old son on 3rd sept 2025 around 8 pm, I waited for 15-20 minutes and was told to wait for another 20 minutes as food was not there..finally I requested a refund as my child needed to go back home , then manager Mr. Prosen was called and magically in next two mins my order was handed to me.

Overall the staff at the counter and the one packing food were very arrogant, rude, and treated everyone (all the customers) without any respect. And most importantly they were inefficient.

There was a foreigner who ordered before me, he was so amused that he kept telling everyone is it the same KFC ?? I WONDER WHAT IMAGE HE WOULD HAVE TAKEN BACK OF US!!

Also one more thing those paying by cash were told that there is no change and 4-5 people including me let go of change 1,2, rupees etc. Finally one woman scolded them that as to why they donot have change.. then again Mr. Prosen was called and he handed a packet of 1 rupees coin and change was given to the lady. I wonder if it was deliberate not to give change to a lot of customers.

Bills were also not provided, including to me, even though I and a couple of more customers asked for it repeatedly..

Overall I would not recommend this outlet And would request KFC management to replace the whole team of kalkaji branch with a better and more efficient...

Yesterday I tried the new chicken and waffles at KFC, was so excited to try. First complaint it's too expensive, for two small waffles, a breast and a wing. It was like $7.49. Second the waffles were very heavy like pound cakes, and so sweet. It was gross and that's without adding the side of syrup they gave me. The staff was very friendly and I usually purchase the $5.00 fill-up, just wanted to try this new item but won't ever get it again, don't see it lasting very long because the waffles are way too sweet like they took a cake mix and added more sugar and poured it in a waffle maker.
