Brick House — Restaurant in Karnataka

This restaurant is one of the open and classy one with brick theme in Mangalore . Playing some melodious english songs. The ambience is great here. The staffs were very sweet and active. One thing to mention is about the washroom. They are kept so hygienic.

FOODS:

MANCHOW SOUP : Like any other soup served in the other restaurants. What disappointed the most was it was cooked with very less amount of salt and basic spices. Later on we had to add over. The consistency was great. 3/5

CHICKEN FRANKIE : Well expected it to be a little juicy but surprisingly it was stuffed with the chicken scrambled. Again spices was not up to the mark. But the good thing is, if you just want to try this out as a starter then this will fill 2 people. The roll is cut in 2 pieces and also thick in size. 4/5

SCHEZWAN PRAWNS FRIED RICE : This is a very light dish and also a must try one along with Hong Kong Chicken. Again if would been the 10/10 item if the prawns were cook a bit with extra flavors or spices. 4/5

Hong Kong Chicken : This dish is very similar to the Mangolian Chicken and Chicken Manchurian ut tge difference is the very thin consistency like that of curry. I would say thinner than the curry. Served with small pieces of well flavored chicken with some big pieces of capsicum and potatoes. 3/5.

CHOCO CHIP SCOOPS : This one can never go wrong. Loved it. 5/5.

THICK KULFI SHAKE : This is the must try drink here. It so refreshing after a heavy meal. Overloaded with Dry Fruits. The great thing is they serve it in the big wine glass along with the tall spoon which reaches till bottom of glass and at first we start eating the thick kulfi cream with the spoon along with dry fruits and as we go on eating it melts to water consistency and then drink it with straw . I would definitely go here again for this one. 10/10.

The place here is bit overpriced and definitely not worth for the taste of dishes but its 200% worth for the quantity they serve.

As mentioned in zomato he price rate here for 2 people is Rs.500, but it's definitely Not. It should be around Rs.800.

Would love to visit here again and taste some...

As the name suggests, their interiors look like an under constructed place. Visited this place for the second time and wouldn't have a second thought on visiting again.

Talking about the food here, they have a widespread menu.

Have tried Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Red Velvet and KitKat shakes. Ferrero Rocher, KitKat and Red Velvet are my favorites. Also, their hot chocolate had some chocolate flavor, unlike other places I've been to.

Chicken Cheesy Alfredo pasta with a generous amount of cheese is to die for. Chicken lasagna was served in two variants, one was prepared with red sauce chicken and another one with white sauce chicken stuffing. It was served floating in cheesy white sauce. Though I did not like the lasagna much, it tasted good with the sauce. Prawns cocktail, was a little disappointing. The prawns weren't fresh. Butter lemon grilled basa fish with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The Basa fish was perfectly done. A must try for sea food lovers. If you love sea food and rich dishes, the Spanish Paella is a must try, it was served with one portion of rice, basa fish, prawns, chicken(can't remember if it was chicken or some other fish) and some salad. This was like a complete meal on a plate. Crispy cheese chicken fingers did not do justice to its name. We expected it to be cheesy, but it was very dry and did not have much cheese. We were a bit hesitant to try Chicken Dim Sums. But they were done really well and served with some mustard sauce.

Both the times we were so full, that we couldn't try any of their desserts.

Brick house is one of the best places I've visited. It ticks every box. It has outdoor seating which is very beautiful with wind flowing amongst a serene atmosphere. The ambiance features rustic brick walls and wooden furniture providing a fine dining experience. They've got AC seating as well upstairs which is top notch beautiful and aesthetic... Perfect for a date , friends catchup , family gathering & every special occasion.
