Hands down the best pub in Mangalore. Period.

My favourite place since forever. Being a regular customer to this place I can say that this is the only place which serves yummy food at affordable prices. They have 3 sections. The old one which has a darker ambience and the music is comparatively loud. The second one is the newly started family friendly section where the music is less louder and more brighter. They also have an outdoor section. The place gets pretty crowded during weekends and a must visit if you are into classic rock songs or in a mood to listen to good songs and get a break from the typical nonsensical current songs. Coming to food, the squid butter garlic is a must try. Squid is perfectly cooked to perfection and generously topped with cream. The famous kheema rice is another must try. The thread chicken is another unique dish which comes with a spicy chilly sauce and the flavours are amazing. Tandoori items aren't available in the noon. They accept both cash and card.. In desserts, there is doughnut vanilla ice cream and caramel custard. Both the desserts are good. And regarding the service, the staff is really good and service is amazing. Being a girl, I must say this is the only place where I can go alone and have a drink and yet feel safe because the service of the staff is professional and very courteous.

Recently visited Liquid Lounge for lunch and had a pleasant experience overall. The ambiance is great, offering a good vibe for a relaxing meal. However, parking can be an issue, so that’s something to keep in mind.

Food Review:

Cheese Corn Nuggets (3.5/5) – Decent, but not as cheesy as expected. Could be better.

Prawns Manchurian (4.5/5) – Absolutely delicious! Well-cooked prawns with a flavorful sauce. Highly recommended.

Prawns Biryani (3.9/5) – It was okay, but nothing exceptional. Could use a bit more punch in flavor.

Reading other reviews, may be this place is nostalgic to most of the people as memories are attached to it. But as a new in town, my server didn’t know the difference between a draught and mug who almost looked half drunk and trust me, I had a good discussion with him before coming to this conclusion. And thank God, I was charged correctly. Somebody else did already mention that this place is expensive compared to other better places which is true. Cocktails not so good.
