I had been here on 5th Oct 2025 sunday.
Parking is quite limited. Street parking. I had no issues as I came here for dinner. but i saw no parking board hanged up there on the walls of the hotel outside. But I did park it right there and there was security to help out park the car. Not sure quite confusing if parking is allowed in day time !
I found this hotel reference from Google maps and rating to this restaurant was next level ! This really made me visit the hotel.
I ordered. Munchow soup ( recommended by Mr.Rakesh waiter of my table). Veg seekh kebab. Stuffed mix veg parota. Dabeli.
Manchow soup - i really really loved the soup texture and the level of spicyness and freshness it contained. Just like how Mr. Rakesh explained and assured that we would like it and We surely did !.
veg seek kabab - Mr.Rakesh explained us in detail about what I can expect in the dish. He explained that it would match my expectations as it includes less oil. Kebab was decent and as explained had less oil. Taste was decent.
Dabeli- Good authentic taste. I recommended Mr.rakesh that there was litlle missing ingredients which impacted the taste alot ie peannuts.
He got the message delivered to the chef and he came back with a response.. I really liked the sense of responsibility Mr.Rakesh had.
Parceled aloo stuffed parota. - I had it in my room and it was very tasty as well.
I like my food to be less oily, Mr. Rakesh made sure he guided me the right dishes.
The hotel has very good ambience with light background slow music , good lightnings , and in the coorg weather having this quality good food would complete your day!.
I will visit this hotel whenever I'm in coorg.
Thanks Mr.Rakesh for behaving very responsible. Your sweet sense of responsibility really made our evening. Keep up the good work and your ...
Read moreI recently dined at Kailash Parbat, hoping for a pleasant evening with delicious food, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
Service: The service was incredibly slow. Despite the restaurant not being overly crowded, we waited an excessively long time for both our orders to be taken and the food to arrive. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, which added to the frustration.
Food Quality: When the food finally arrived, it was a major letdown. The dishes lacked the authentic flavors that Kailash Parbat is known for. The appetizers were cold and seemed stale, as if they had been prepared much earlier and left out. The main courses were bland and did not reflect the vibrant tastes typically associated with Indian cuisine.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the restaurant was also concerning. Our table was sticky, and the utensils did not appear to be properly cleaned. This raised doubts about the overall hygiene standards of the establishment.
Ambiance: The ambiance did not contribute to a pleasant dining experience either. The music was too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. Additionally, the lighting was harsh and uninviting.
Overall, my experience at Kailash Parbat was very disappointing. I expected a high standard of service and food quality given its reputation, but what I encountered was far from it. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and works towards improving their service and food quality.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Based on my recent visit, unfortunately, no. There are many other places that offer better food and a more enjoyable...
Read morePathetic and utterly unprofessional service – Kailash Parbat Madikeri ruined my experience!
I had one of the worst experiences ever with Kailash Parbat, Madikeri, on Dussehra day (2nd Oct). While travelling from Mysore to Coorg, I placed an order over the phone and was told to make online payment. I did exactly that and even shared the screenshot.
However, just before entering Madikeri town, the police blocked all entry because of the Dussehra procession — something every local business, including this restaurant, was well aware of. Despite knowing there would be a complete traffic halt, they accepted my order and took my money without a single word of warning. That’s pure negligence and greed.
When I immediately called back (within 10 minutes) and requested cancellation or a refund, they heartlessly said the food was already prepared. I even offered to pay extra for delivery to my nearby resort, but they flatly refused to help in any way.
This restaurant shows no empathy, no responsibility, and absolutely no regard for customers. It’s shocking that a so-called reputed brand like Kailash Parbat can behave in such a careless and arrogant manner. They were only interested in collecting money, not in customer satisfaction or basic decency.
I lost my hard-earned money for no fault of mine, and the staff couldn’t care less. Such behavior is unethical, exploitative, and disgraceful.
If you value your money, time, and respect — stay far away from Kailash Parbat, Madikeri. They clearly don’t deserve the name or reputation of the brand...
