Tucked away in the lush hills of Coorg, Freeman Restaurants is a newfound gem that is sure to tantalize your taste buds. This charming eatery has recently opened its doors, offering a unique blend of Coorg's local flavors and international twists. I had the pleasure of visiting Freeman Restaurants and indulging in their delectable offerings.
As I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The rustic-chic decor, complete with wooden accents and vintage touches, perfectly complements the natural beauty of Coorg. The outdoor seating area, surrounded by lush greenery, is an ideal spot to enjoy a leisurely meal.
The culinary journey at Freeman Restaurants began with a sampling of their Coorg-inspired dishes. The Pandi Curry, a classic Coorg specialty, was rich and flavorful, with tender pork and a perfect balance of spices. The Akki Roti, a traditional Coorg rice bread, was served with a delicious vegetable stew.
However, the true showstoppers were the pastry and dessert offerings. The Brownie was fudgy and decadent, with a perfect balance of sweetness and richness. The Ice Cream, crafted in-house, was creamy and indulgent, with unique flavors like Cardamom and Coffee.
The service at Freeman Restaurants was attentive and friendly. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. The owner's passion for food and hospitality was evident throughout the meal.
The prices at Freeman Restaurants were reasonable, considering the high quality of ingredients and the generous portion sizes.

Read moreI had purchased one chocolate cake, red wine, kadai chicken, dry pepper chicken, dal fry, jeera rice, rice, akki roti, chicken biryani, however I did not like the pepper chicken, kadai chicken taste as it was too much spicy.
And they had forgot to pack rice also, which caused us little problem as we had travelled 25km from that location to our homestay and it was difficult for us to come back and take it.
We had repeatedly asked them that is everything is packed, as we did not recheck that was our fault we ended up adjusting the food we took home.
Recommend : Check your items then leave the shop.
CAKE was very good, fresh and resonable, got it for 500/- (1kg) RED Wine was good and reasonable. (400/-)
Biryani was okay okay. DAL FRY was comparatively good. Jeera rice was good. Chicken item was too spicy and not at all tasty.
Price is resonable.
We also had a hot and sour soup, that was full red in colour, too much sauce, not at all good.
Lemon tea was the BEST among everything we had.
I found Tiger and Tiger( near Raja Seat) better , little bit costly but pure homemade taste and you would definitely love the food and also the...
