visited Mylari Hotel's new outlet, drawn by its reputation as an old, authentic South Indian gem. The exclusive focus on idli and dosa truly captures the essence of traditional flavors. The bustling atmosphere attests to its popularity, a testament to the genuine South Indian taste it delivers. However, the absence of a numbered table system was somewhat inconvenient. Guests need to personally secure a table by standing nearby, creating an awkward dynamic. Despite this minor setback, the overall experience is worthwhile for those seeking an authentic culinary journey. The charm of Mylari lies in its commitment to preserving and serving the true essence of South Indian cuisine. The crowded ambiance, while a sign of its success, could benefit from an improved table management system. In conclusion, Mylari Hotel offers a delightful venture into South Indian culinary traditions, making it a must-visit for those craving genuine regional flavors.

Visited Mylari hotel on a day when we friends six of them had nothing for lunch. I had visited this place few years back. Hoping that they had maintained the same taste. Thankfully yes they have. Here the menu is limited. It is Benne Dosa (only masala dosa), kesari bath, uppittu (upma), tea, coffee, badam milk and couple of other items. 95% people visit here only for dosa purpose. Instead of normal potato palya here they serve with soppina palya (green leaf chutney kind off) thing stuffed inside dosa. Only coconut chutney us offered along. No sambar/sagu. Very tasty. We ordered 3 dosa each as the dosa size is small and doesn't full fill the hunger. Place is very small. But it is clean. They are a lot of Mylari hotels in mysuru promising to make tasty dosas. Not sure which is the original one. But this hotel does prepare tasty dosas :)

We were on a bike trip from Bangalore to Mysore..so we planned tons of places to visit. Mylari wasn't particularly in the list , but the thought of having Mysore masala Dosa was constant. So me and my other travelling partner came up with this restuarant , we ordered the classics as usual " THE MYSORE MASALA DOSE" which was extraordinary, i had no idea about the taste. It was beyond something i could think of, it was completely different from whatever we usually have in BLR. And the ambience is super aesthetic and ancient ,it just gives the authentic vibe.Later while paying the bill we came to know that the restaurant was 60 yrs old. So we were shocked by that too. But whatever it is Mylari should be on the top list of those who are planning to visit Mysore...

One of the oldest hotels of Mysuru and if I’m not wrong Karanataka also. On the board itself they have mentioned that they are Irli and dosa specialists, I can say they they are wrong they are just dosa specialists. Idli’s taste is just same as of other restaurants. But dosa was really good. Tasty, soft, buttery, smooth, was like sponge. And only 3 types of dishes are available they are 1. Plain dosa 2.Masala dosa (butter) 3. Idli Although the size of the dosa was too small the cost is worth the taste. And this is a must place for breakfast if you have visited Mysore. I have given 4 stars only because of the cleanliness, the hotel isn’t clean actually although it was crowded.

If you want to experience the real way to eat dosa, there is only one place in Mysore (and perhaps much further). Go when it is busy (almost always) and grab a seat. You'll get some banana leaves for a plate and ask for a bottle of water. Wave down the staff flying by with plates of dosa (skip the steamed rice, you are here for the dosa). You eat with your right hand, and you WILL lick your fingers. The slightly spicy dosa are balanced out by the yoghurt-like dip. When you are satisfied, wash your hands and tell the lady at the front desk how many dosa you've had... the last surprise is how little you'll have to pay for a nice meal and a real experience

As we are in the way to Mysore Randomly we were searching for Breakfast they we found this Mylari Hotel with lots of hype. As we entered the hotel all tables were busy sum how we got seats we ordered Famous Mylari Dose dey tld to it takes sum time antha. So we ordered Idly literally idly was like butter uffffff so smooth tasted superb😍😍 Dey can the Most Hyed Dose with lots of butter 🧈 taste wise good but Quantity was not worth it. For my point of view Dose was so small literally u can eat 5 to 6 dose easily it cost ₹40 per each dose. But once need to taste this Dose But Idly killed the Show….!!!
