Read moreOur dinner at Lakshman Mess in Mysore was a culinary delight that left us thoroughly impressed. We tried a variety of dishes, including pulav rice, chilli chicken, egg boti fry, and parotta, and every single one of them was amazing.
The pulav rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, with each grain distinct and infused with subtle spices. It had a rich flavour profile that was comforting and satisfying, making it a standout dish of the night.
The chilli chicken was another highlight, with tender pieces of chicken coated in a spicy, tangy sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The balance of flavours was spot-on, making it an excellent complement to the pulav rice.
We also tried the egg boti fry, which was a pleasant surprise. The dish combined the richness of eggs with the robust flavours of spiced meat, creating a unique and flavourful experience. It was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, making it a must-try for anyone visiting Lakshman Mess.
Finally, the parotta was soft, flaky, and incredibly satisfying. It was the perfect vehicle for soaking up the flavours of the chilli chicken and egg boti fry, adding a delightful texture to the meal.
Overall, Lakshman Mess delivered an outstanding dinner experience. The food was authentic, packed with flavour, and left us completely satisfied. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this place is a gem in Mysore that shouldn't be missed. Highly...
Read moreThis place I visited with my cousin on a all boys food trip to Mysore. I would say this is a meat lovers paradise. This place is so good that we visited this place 2 times in 3 days, while we had a list of 5 restaurants to visit, we skipped 3 others.
All the masalas used are home made and a secret recipe prepared by the owner. No adulteration, no acidity or uncomfortable feeling in stomach.
We would skip breakfast to get in the mood and visit here by 12. Always crowded, while the hotel opens in the morning you get starters only after 12 noon. They have small portions and one can try multiple dishes. Serve hot water.
Must haves: Parota + Chicken chops. Chicken fry is good as well but I would recommend chops. Biryani - very flavoursome. Chicken lollipop is out of the world so is chicken kebab.
Star of the hotel is pepper chicken - i would say it's the best I have ever eaten. Deep fried but very moist inside, unlike peper chicken in regular hotels ( where the...
