Sattvik - Rooftop Cafe — Restaurant in Karnataka

Expectations can often lead to dissappointments.. we, only a few weeks ago had lunch at Sattvik JP Nagar branch and were impressed with food quality and service. we came here for a memorable dinner and a gratifying experiance..

Memorable it was but for wrong reasons namely unimpresive service and near disgusting food experiance.. ensuring we never come back here

Items ordered.. Veg Lollipop (5/10) Burnt Garlic Soup (6/10) Mango Mojito (2/10) Fruit Punch (1/10)

Bamboo Biryani (2/10) Carror Halwa (3/10)

While Veg Lollipop and Burnt Garlic Soup was okay, rest all items were bad if not disgusting..

I'll explain.. Veg Lollipop were falling off the sticks not holding on, so was not possible to have it like lollipop. The Garlic didnt seem burnt but was good enough. These 2 were the only saving grace of our dinner experiance.

Both beverages were made with concentrates.. fruit punch was actually mango shake with apple toppings.. mojito was better of the two.

Restaurant had highlighted Bamboo Biryani as their days special and Chefs recommendation. We fell for the trap and realized very quickly how foolish our decision was. The biryani came out of the bamboo but had no added flavour or fragrance because of it. Biryani itself was tasteless. the veggies, all of it were under cooked and strangely the paneer was overdone and was rubbery.. you can see them as leftovers in the pic..

When we complained about it, they were making silly excuses as to how it was prepared on Dum etc..

They served us microwaved Carrot Halwa.. tasted pathetic..

It was our time and money both...

Dined here for an occasion and it was a fantastic experience. Started off with Lemon Coriander soup and Cream of Tomato soup along with a couple of Masala Papads, all 3 were great. For sides, we ordered Corn Tikki Kebab, Peri Peri Paneer Tikka and Pineapple Honey Chilli Tikka and they were equally good as well. For the main course, we ordered a few regular Kulchas, a veg Kolhapuri and a few Amritsari Kulchas along with Gobi Manchurian and Curd Rice. The Amritsari Kulcha was yummy. Sadly, they did not have the Chole Masala since they had run out of it. We then ordered a Jeera Masala Goli Soda to finish off the sumptuous meal. Overall, the taste and the purity of the food was great and the place is clean and has well behaved staff. The restrooms were clean and tidy. Great place to host/throw a party/event for any occasion. Plenty of gated and secured parking is available right next to the property. There are also rooms which one can rent for the night and the rooms are clean and very well maintained. Overall, it was a great experience here with my family. Mr. Nagesh and team have done a fantastic job catering to the locals and have upkept the expectations with this...

Visited 4 times in 2 in a row when I was in Mysore for a function

Hands down one of the best place to experience Hospitality here, Literally every single person on the floor is well mannered, behaved & trained They're extremely sweet & caring making sure we had the best experience and food

I literally tried all their special dishes which they recommended & it was really good

I've to give it to them for one such incident is when I completely forgot to have lunch int he afternoon n by the time I finished my meetings n calls it was almost 4pm, I just went here n got to knw that restaurant was closed but they didn't send me back they asked me to sit n served me delicious food gracefully I was the only one in the whole restaurant when everyone had left that's where they win my heart over
