🌞 Good Morning, Friends!
This morning, we went on a short trip to Mysore to celebrate my 26th birthday 🎉
During our visit, we had the pleasure of dining at Ashirvaad Grand Pure Veg Restaurant, located at 158, Nelson Mandela Rd, Bannimantap, Mysuru, Karnataka 570015.
Here's what we tried and absolutely loved:
☕ Filter Coffee – The perfect start to our day! Rich, aromatic, and full-bodied – just the way South Indian filter coffee should be. It was served piping hot in traditional steel tumbler and davara, leaving us refreshed and energized.
🍛 Menu & Pricing – The menu had a great variety, and the prices were quite reasonable – not too high, not too low. Alhamdulillah, it felt like good value for money.
🥣 Sambar Idli – Soft, fluffy idlis soaked in flavorful sambar. The sambar had the perfect balance of spices and tanginess, making each bite melt in the mouth.
🍩 Medu Wada – Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Served hot with chutney and sambar, the texture and taste were spot on.
🥘 Upma & Kesari Sweet – The upma was light and savory with the right hint of ghee and veggies, while the kesari was smooth, sweet, and full of saffron and cashew goodness.
🍽️ Combo Thali – A complete feast! It included idli, masala dosa, upma, kesari sweet, sambar rice, pulao, medu wada, sambar, and chutney. Each item was delicious and well-prepared. Great for someone who wants to try a bit of everything.
🥟 Puri with Sambar and Chutney – The puris were soft yet crispy, and went beautifully with the sambar and coconut chutney. Comfort food at its best.
✨ Overall, it was an awesome experience. Clean ambiance, quick service, and tasty food made our breakfast stop truly memorable. Highly recommend visiting if you're in or...
Read moreMy recent visit to Hotel Ashirvad was a complete letdown. The food was without a doubt one of the worst I've ever had. The taste was far from satisfactory, and the overall quality was extremely poor. It was a major disappointment. and prices are on another level.
Moreover, the customer service I received was beyond pathetic and rude. The staff seemed completely disinterested in assisting customers and lacked basic courtesy. It was clear that they had no understanding of how to manage a business and provide a satisfactory experience to guests. Let them start a business in Calicut, Kerala they will end up getting 0 customers per month for sure.
Furthermore, as an architect the design of the restaurant was simply terrible. The lack of attention to zoning was evident, and it negatively impacted the ambiance of the place. It's not more than confusing for the costumers They have done little much on interior design, but if there is no function, how does aesthetics going to impact
I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment, as it lacks quality food, has poor customer service, and a disappointing...
