Hotel Sepoy Grande — Hotel in Karnataka

We had the worst food from here compared to all the meals we had in our entire trip. since the breakfast was complimentary, we had no other option than to take the food from them, Our kids hardly had any cooked food, they just gave a try on the bread, butter, jam and Coffee. We had to take the lunch on our arrival day, and not to mention it was an utter waste. not even the pickle, we could mentioned as good. My husband ordered plain pappad, and we specifically mentioned it was required just for him, but the waitier gave us a decorated pappad and that too for 4 of us. it was like a flower carpet kept on the pappad. and he charged us Rs. 200 for it. 4 of us managed to have just one of it,, and the rest three was returned back. this is just one instance.

Even his hotel is a BAR Attached one, which was not at all mentioned in any of the booking sites. Had paid advance amount, hence was forced to stay here.

Lift hardly accomodates 4 people. so we had to wait a long time for coming down and going up, due to this we never waitied for the lift, we had to use the stairs. (Pros : since this of ofcourse benefitted our health)

They insisited to pay the full amount at the time of check in itself, hence we couldnt take an other option for our stay. There are so many options nearby for the stay. Even his hotel is a BAR Attached one, which was not at all mentioned in any of the booking sites. Had paid advance amount, hence was forced to stay here.

Limited parking space, that too for two wheelers, they have arranged a seperate private parking space, but need to check the safety issues.

Please dont get attracted to the photos seen here, it must have been taken just after the inaguration, it is not al all clean. restaurant area and wash area are jsut disgusting.

I have visited here recently and my overall experience was not as expected, as a hotelier I know how industry works and how things are still I felt like there are no hospitality at all in this place.

We were exploring the place so we thought about visiting the 05th floor restaurant which was expected to be an olives restaurant but when we went there we were waiting for menu for 05 minutes then we got the menu after that we were waiting for almost 10 minutes to place an order and when no one seems to be interested to take order or ask so we just called one of the staff who seens to an interns took and order and he mentioned that pizza will take 45 minutes to serve so we decided to order some other starter and some main course and after waiting for almost 30 minutes and expecting starter to be on table we got to know that it's not available or quality is not good so we can't serve you . So we don't have the option left to just have the main course directly as we were already waiting from the long . People were not showing interest in the guests and the table who came after us to the restaurant was already having food and we were waiting for our food , and more shocking is when beside our table one of the gentlemen ordered pizza which he got in 25-30 minutes. Order fresh lemon 🍋 soda which were taste like made from preservatives and 100% not from fresh lemon juice.

Staff were openly having mount freshers while coming and going and beer were carrying through guest elevators from some other floor, which was not a big deal. The staff needs to be trained in better manners about hospitality.

We recently visited this place with family members of all age groups, and here is what we think

Location: too good for mysore tourists Rooms: very decent, although our bathrooms had seepage and it was raining heavily. Rain water was spluttering all over the bathroom making it inconvenient for elders and kids. Also the lights are very dim making it very depressing. We only got warm water for bath and was not happy with it as it was cold and rainy outside.

Reception desk : they made us wait for so long just because one of the eldest family member's aadhar back side was not shown for proof, although the booking was not in their name and the aadhar front side was already shown. Not so welcoming in my opinion.

Room boys and security: they are the only nicest people in this hotel who amwere super helpful and cooperative. Super cheers to them!

Restaurant room service: well the restaurant open only after 7.30 so your early morning filter coffee or tea wil have to be skipped and settle for instant coffee and tea bags.

Parking space: we were not given the parking space end of the day due to which we had to go in search of one on the streets far away from the hotel. Again, inconvenience.

Lift: in a hotel with soo many rooms, there is one small passengar lift which can hardly accommodate 4 PPL, and we had to wait for so long for the lift but ended up taking stairs ultimately, again inconvenience for elders.

Altogether, may be a place for young crowd and not recommended...
