Mysore Thindies (ಮೈಸೂರು ತಿಂಡೀಸ್) — Restaurant in Karnataka

Unimpressed. Okay customer service, hot and loud ambience and tasteless food.

I was utterly unimpressed by the restaurant and food. It's a bit of a shock to me, because it is so crowded outside and i couldnt understand why because there is nothing special about this place .

I ordered a masala dosa set and a sweet lassi. Maybe I have been spoiled by the thick and creamy lassi from the north, but this was a pathetic joke. The lassy was basically a watered down curd with sugar.

The masala dosa was nice and crispy but there was a tiny amount of masala in the center. The coconut chutney was missing seasoning and tasted more like garlic than anything else, the salna was tasteless and missing the most basic ingredient - salt.

I don't know if I just had a terrible night there or what, but I couldn't recommend this...

Food is good, but service is not so great. Had to wait more than 30 minutes to get 4 items (2 rotis, 2 nans, paneer butter masala and fried rice). They started preparing the items only after 20 minutes of waiting and asking multiple times about the order. Delays in preparing items are understandable during busy hours, but it wasn't the case. They didn't even have the common courtesy to inform about the delay if they were expecting it. When I asked for a bill of the items ordered (to know the rates of the items I ordered as not all items are included in the menu, for example juices), initially the person at the counter said that they will keep it in the cover. As it wasn't in the cover, I asked them about the bill again. They just kept looking at each other and said they lost it after a couple of minutes...

I regret to share that my recent dining experience was far from satisfactory. The food quality at the establishment was extremely poor, lacking taste and proper preparation. The dishes I ordered were not up to the expected standards, leaving me disappointed and unsatisfied.

Furthermore, the overall experience was marred by subpar service and a lack of attention from the staff. The atmosphere in the restaurant was less than inviting, and the wait time for food was excessively long, adding to the frustration.

It's unfortunate that my visit turned out to be such a disappointment. I hope that the establishment takes these concerns seriously and strives to improve their food quality and overall service to ensure a more positive dining experience for...
