Pathetic Service by Ovenstory & Zomato
This has to be one of the worst food delivery experiences I’ve had. I placed an order via Zomato from Ovenstory. At the time of placing the order, it showed 15 mins delivery time. Minutes later, it jumped to a 47-min delay. And here I am, 2 hours later, still seeing "restaurant is preparing your order."
Tried calling the restaurant — no response. Contacted Zomato support and they came up with the most convenient excuse possible: "It’s raining heavily." Well guess what? It hasn’t rained a bit here.
To make it worse, when I click on the Help option, Zomato tells me to contact the restaurant as they have their own delivery agents. So basically, I ordered on Zomato, but I’m left stranded between two clueless services, both passing the blame.
Absolutely pathetic coordination, zero customer support, and no basic courtesy to update or cancel the order. Never...
